Vega Caffe — Restaurant in San Diego

The food is great here, very well made. The service is fast even on a busy day on lunch time. It's not an expensive establishment and the way they treat their customers is extremely friendly and kind. I've come to befriend them and they are very down to earth people. The place might need a bit of retouching inside, never the less I highly recommend you try their food, especially the Ortega Chicken Sandwich. It's made with grilled chicken and a slice of Anaheim pepper, plus lettuce, tomatoes and which ever addition you might want like avocado, etc. They have a variety of options in their menu that you must try...

I loved their Mango drink, but Should've gotten the Burrito instead of the sandwich. I hardly got any Beans, but plenty of ice berg lettuce,. Don't ever say your Vegan. You'll be treated like a rabbit. I didn't get refried Beans initially, had to ask for them... Don't Starve Yourself! Be Healthy, but Stay Alive. 🙏 Ladies Owner/Server was nice.. ❤️ 15$ for a Salad...

I ordered a cranberry chicken salad and while I was eating it I found a fly. It was disgusting. I called and asked to speak to the manager and he told me "well it's normal to have flies in lettuce or spinich" last I checked it's not ok to serve customers flies...
