It was my second time at Peet's since moving back to California. Upon the first visit with my wife (which was the location in Hillcrest, I believe) we had a great experience. I was informed about the app and mobile orders and what not, which I was already used to from one of their competitors, so I decided to download it. Fast forward to today's visit. I saw there was a BOGO promotion in effect for iced beverages, so I decided to give a app a test drive. No issues with it 👍. Went in, asked where the mobile pick up section was, waited maybe five minutes and the barista made the drop, and I made the pick up. Done deal! Folks, here is some advice. If you are a coffee person and want to make the experience more enjoyable (especially being a "pick up" guy like myself, please just get the app, load money in it, and order from it. You can customize your drinks (syrup and shots and whipped cream, yada yada yada, check out on it and have it made it your desired location. Pretty much a no brainer. Again, fairly busy inside but I whisked away from the order in store line to my mobile app section (party of one, namely me) and cooled out until the drop. Overall...
Read moreI have been to dozens of Pete's over the years. I like the fact that they don't saturate their brand with mediocre locations on every other corner. This location was friendly, it was uncrowded. The drinks were made proper, Oat Horchata, Americano, and a Carmel Coffee were all great. The restaurant looks tired and could use some remodeling. The pastry case looked clean and up to schematic lighting was good. Parking was fine and there is no drive through. The bathrooms were fine, the condiment bar was well stocked and clean. The dry goods merchandising was mediocre with no whole bean coffee, k cups prominently featured...
Read moreGreat spot to have a coffee shop like Peet's. Their meduim and dark roasts are solid coffees. The parking isn't too bad, even in the morning. It can get a little crowded in the shop, when it's busy. The staff is proactive and will do their best to take care of guests, long before they reach the register. This coffee shop is right next to a grocery store, so if that place gets busy, it will impact the parking situation. Overall, I recommend...
