The Outlaw Saloon & Grill — Restaurant in San Elizario

Our first visit. We decided to get something to eat before going to the petting zoo. We have been here a week visiting family that just got stationed here. First off we haven't had a great experience eating out all week. The food here was top notch. I ordered the queso and chips. Amazing! My daughter got the All American burger with waffle fries. She was very excited that there were fresh. The burger was juicy and packed with so much flavor. My husband got the crispy relleno burger and onion rings. The rings were very crispy. Tasted very good. The burger.....Just wow! Jammed packed with flavor with a deep fried stuffed relleno. I ordered the steak tacos. The steak was juicy, full of flavor. I recently visited Outlaw Saloon and Grill, and while the food wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t quite as great as I expected. I think the place gets a lot of hype because of the Licon Dairy asadero, so I went in with pretty high expectations. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy my meal—I just thought it would stand out a little more given all the talk about it. (Waffle Fries are so good!)

That said, the customer service was absolutely amazing!! The ladies and the gentleman working there were incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in, and that kind of hospitality really makes a difference.

Even though the food didn’t completely wow me, I would definitely go back just because of how warm and friendly the staff were. Sometimes great service can make up for anything else—and this place definitely delivers...

Gotta say the service here is not great . Went all the way from northeast . Restaurant was empty, had us waiting more than 30 minutes for our food. They gave the people that got there after us their food . Asked the waitress if we were getting our food soon . She said “ I just put in your food, sorry I forgot , I put the other table in first “ 😮😮 like really ! No shame . Asked to take the food to go ..came to a park to eat , no napkins no utensils 😑😑😑😬😬😬 . And then my daughters barbecue burgers tastes like plastic 😩😩gross she couldn’t eat it.
