Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in San Jose

Hello Domino’s @ Store #7938,

I’m not much for leaving reviews nor do I eat out a lot. I usually eat clean + healthy meals and exercise everyday.

However, after a long diet, I decided to indulge in some pizza from domino’s (cheat day).

I don’t have much experience with domino’s nor do I eat fast food often. I love the idea of supporting the local business and trying something different.

I’m sorry to say that my experience was quite distressful. An hour or two after eating the chicken/cheese pizza, my stomach started to cramp badly, the lower intestine was throbbing with pain and I honestly haven’t felt this sick in over 10 years.

The experience was so awful that I had no choice but to login to leave a 1 star review.

I hope Dominoes is able to modify their business practices or change their target audience or even better micro-manage each one of their locations. Ensuring high quality and hygiene protocols.

Maybe I went to the wrong location or went at the wrong time. My portion was only about 3 slices.

But as I’m laying down with stomach pain, debating whether I should go to the ER, I just feel unpleasant.

My health is in great condition otherwise, my digestion/elimination process is efficient but today I’m having the absolute worst time.

Coming from an honest and sincere perspective, I won’t be eating dominoes ever again, especially not here. My experience has a strong negative connotation.

🔥 Great Pizza, Awkward Pickup. One Employee Deserves a Raise.

Tried the new stuffed crust pizza and Philly cheese steak sandwich—both were solid. Pizza crust was golden and packed with cheese. Dough was soft and flavorful. Sandwich had perfectly baked bread and a solid steak/cheese/onion combo. Not Philly-authentic, but still hit the spot.

Now the service? Kinda rough. The customer before me "Josh" had his order under “Jose,” and three male employees started arguing about it right at the counter. I'm not sure what language they were speaking, but their body language said it all: frustration, confusion, and zero awareness that I was standing there waiting.

Meanwhile, the only one actually working was the Hispanic female employee. I even said to her, “Looks like you’re doing all the work—are you the only employee?” She just smiled and kept it moving. Total pro. If her manager reads this: she’s the reason this review isn’t lower. Give her a raise.

Food’s worth it. But if you’re picking up, hope she’s the one helping you.

First and last time I will order from Dominos. And that’s based on service alone. I still have no clue what Dominos pizza tastes like. They missed delivered by order and were rude about it. Then they tried to turn in on me and say they left in on my porch, even though I requested “traditional delivery” in which it’s handed off. They said they would remake the pizza and redeliver. At that point i didn’t trust them not to spit in my food and called back right away and said not to bother, to refund my order. And that when they told me the driver already went to find the pizza. I said absolutely NOT. I don’t want a pizza that was left who know where in the cold. Wow. Just wow. And they did just that. Went and picked up the pizza from a neighbor and tried to redeliver it.
