KISSI Restaurant — Restaurant in San Juan

We went for dinner today because we were craving a Kissi sushi roll. After ordering and getting our drinks, we noticed that the televisions/entertainment went off but we didn’t think much of it. Then, we noticed that people coming in and sitting were immediately leaving, so we come to find out that their system had gone offline and they were notifying the people coming in that they could only pay in cash. After realizing this, and knowing that we had no cash on us, I asked the nearest server if they offered any other payment methods to which she rudely said no. That left us with no other option but to send my husband out to look for an ATM while the wait staff stared me down thinking I was about to make a run for it or something. Not only was the service subpar as I had to keep asking my waitress for items multiple times (until I just gave up), but the wait staff was rude and unapologetic. I have dined here 4 or 5 times...just to make sure my experience is consistent....and i just have to say..its a 3.8 rating at best... The restaurant location is wonderful...building is wonderful..just the food taste is always lacking something to get that 4 or even 5 star review. I have eaten several dishes..and its pretty much same lacking overall in food taste... Staff is fast and wonderful ...and for the money ..its about where it is at..this plate here with pop is 20 smacs...proper... But at the 20$ mark..ibhave eaten at better tasting mexucan restaurants.. But visit them and make your own kind on the taste... For reference iblike Maria's restaurant downtown...costa mesa.. Eddie's tacos restaurant...hope that...

This rating is because do the overpriced food. My sister and I went in and ordered a combo plate with no drink. They gave us 4 tacos total with about 3 tablespoons of potato and the total for both was $29 dollars. I had to double check because the 4 tacos were small and the potato, well I wish I would have taken a picture of the amount of potato they served. Don’t get ripped off. I’ve eaten at several taquerias and never have I been charged so much for so little. Didn’t leave a large tip since it felt so overcharged. Felt bad for the waiter but never again. Who ever likes to eat there must like to over pay...
