First and last time going. attempted multiple times to place order over the phone either line was busy or someone would answer and hang up. Saw there was curbside decided to give it a try. the employee that approached my car came already mad I started to order I asked her if the order came with a drink she said well you want a combo or an order I said im not sure what's the difference she replied well you dont know what you want or what I replied its my first time here can I see a menu she stated they didnt have any so I tried to order best I could ....when she returned she gave me my order and asked if I was paying card or cash I stated cash i asked what's my total she yelled back " i dont know give me $20" came very close to losing my temper but had my younger sister with me so I didnt noticed there was no salsa so I asked her and again with attitude she replied "you didnt order salsa" didnt want to fight so best I just left...but to my knowledge if you order tacos you get salsa but i...

You'll never bite into one of their tacos and say 'oh, that reminds me of the tacos at X'. No, Rios tacos are their own thing, and they are outstanding. I always get one bistek on flour with everything, one chicken on flour with everything, and a side of yellow cheese. I dress each taco with a generous helping of fresh lime and that mysterious red sauce they have (that I swear somehow doesn't go well with anything but their own tacos). Be warned, the parking... isn't great, especially during peak times, so consider trying them out in the late afternoon - I find that's the best time to drop by. Read moreOur last stop in McAllen before departing and it didn’t let us down. It was Sunday afternoon so this place was boomin! We got sat but it didn’t take a long time for us to get greeted and taken care of. But once she did come, we got things rolling. Hubby and I once again got a handful of tacos and he decided to try one with “sweet bread.” Didn’t enjoy that one, the texture was too mushy and not pleasant. But the rest tasted good. The beans/pork cup they gave us had a good flavor but there were just big chunks of pork fat in them so we didn’t really eat those. My friend got something popular in the area called “sincronizada” and it was like this giant burrito. We all helped each other eat it and devoured the rest of the tacos.
