Lavenida — Restaurant in San Juan

If you want to secure a table, make sure you make reservations, but they still have open tables outside. We didn't make reservations, but it was fine. It wasn't as hot as wr thought it would've been. The food was incredible. We started the night with croquetas de chorizo, which were awesome and fresh. It had a spicy aioli that complemented the croquetas really well. We ordered for our dinner plates, the churrasco nachos, the fettuccine with bechimel, and they had an off the menu plate a mamposteao risotto with churrasco that was super delicious!!!! Every plate was good, but I think the risotto was our favorite. For dessert, we had their cinnamon roll with praline ice cream. The roll was soft, and the ice cream was perfect. Fatal! Después que llegamos con reservación a las 10:00pm; ni nos cancelaron, ni nos dijeron absolutamente nada y cuando llegamos nos dicen que están cerrando. El chico que estaba botando la basura super pasmado nos dice creo que estamos cerrados; le digo es que es hasta las 11 que cierra la cocina. El procede a mirar a otro que estaba en la cocina y me dice que es de miércoles a sábado cuando claramente dice de martes a sábado y hicimos reservación. Le digo literalmente eso y me dice es hasta las 10:00 pm, le menciono que el horario es hasta las 11:00 pm y me dice que es que el día estaba flojo… ??? Perdimos nuestro viaje y tiempo en llegar para no ser atendidos. Simplemente hubieran cancelado o no permitido la reservación y no llegábamos hasta allí.
