Great first experience at B-Man's! We ordered two ABC burgers and a large curry fries. It was busy at 5:30 on a Wednesday. However, it only took about ten minutes to receive our order. We could see the fast efficient teamwork in the kitchen. Impressive. The food was well worth the price. The curry fries were the wow factor. Crinkle cut fries smothered in Japanese yellow curry with pieces of braised chicken thigh mixed in. What? That is a comfort food dinner for two for ten bucks by itself! About the burgers, on par with the freshness and presentation of In-N-Out but without the long wait in the drive through. Pro tip: Ask for extra teriyaki sauce on the burgers. Based on our experience today it seems that they drizzle a bit of sauce on the patty as they cook it. Kinda like the In-N-Out mustard grilled patty. Full disclosure, we tried this place because of a Burger Show episode by First We Feast on YouTube. The burgers on the episode were doubles with teriyaki sauce dripping down the sides of the burger. I understand the need for food sexy pictures for promo. I encourage you my foodie friends to make it a reality.

Ordered the chili cheese fries but I guess technically chili fries because the cheese is $2.00 extra, wasn't told this but thats whatevers I guess. When I first opened the box I caught a quick glance and saw how hefty it was which was nice but then when I got home and fully got a look at it I was HIGHLY disappointed to see how much chese I was given for a $2.00 uncharge, not nearly enough for the price I was charged. Update: I tried adding more cheese to it to at least hopefully make up for their lack of cheese(still peeved for being charged 2 bucks for that little bit of cheese) and honestly that didn't even help. The chili just isn't for me. I now see why they are known for their teriyaki.

I heard this place is kind of related to Spike's Teriyaki Bowl in San Gabriel. If so, B-Mans has managed to recreate it and make it even better. Like everyone says here, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. One thing I will add is they really douse your teriyaki bowls/plates with teriyaki sauce, so ask for the sauce on the side if you want to control the floodgates. That hot sauce is something else too. I think it's derived from crack, and it goes great with the teriyaki sauce.

I went to a family Christmas gathering this past weekend in Fontana. While eating tamales, a family friend happened to mention he grew up in San Gabriel, which is where I live. Naturally, the discussion of food came up. I told the individual I live near where Spike's used to be. He said the food there was good. I told him that was the normal consensus, but regrettably, I never frequented the establishment. The next words that came out of his mouth brought upon a huge smile that I couldn't hide nor contain. That's when he stated B-Man's Teriyaki Bowl on Huntington Dr & San Gabriel Blvd is owned by the son of the original owner of Spike's & has the exact same menu. I informed my wife, who was a big fan of Spike's, & donned the same, bright smile. She marveled about the potato salad & checked the menu if it was on there...and it was! Can't wait to bring her & my ever growing boys & start a new tradition. Things like this may be trivial to others, but not for me. I look forward to the 1st of...

First off let me say it’s sad the way all business is going after the pandemic in many places including this one now. and I thought that when you speak to owners, they should own up to their errors and make it up to their patrons but I guess it’s better to make a ick buck and lose future business. So long story short been ordering from these guys for last couple years then everything started falling off. First the quality of the meats and veg rice being underdone and hard.then the chicken being pink at times. Then the portions being very noticeably cut. And the latest one being my order completely being ignored after more than an hour being placed. There are plenty of other places to get quality ingredients and decent customer service.sadly I would expect The owner Byron to handle the situation but he made it very clear he cares more about the money he can make other than the satisfaction of his customers. So that just doesn’t sit well with me. ...
