Cafe 2k — Restaurant in San Mateo

This is by far the best office complex café I've ever been to. It's open to the public and well worth a visit even if you don't work in the 2000 Alameda de las Pulgas office complex. The food is freshly made with healthy ingredients, the staff is incredibly nice and exceedingly accommodating, and the service is quick and friendly. They also have daily specials separate from the main menu, so be sure to ask about them. Pro tip: the bagels are to die for. Terrible. Came because we were early to a doctors appointment. Got the $3 Bagel with cream cheese and salmon. Was told it wasn't whole pieces of lox and I expected to get a lox schmear(just lox pieces combined with cream cheese) instead I got something that looked and tasted like tuna salad cream cheese.
