Borel Park — Attraction in San Mateo

No restrooms but it's a very new park with a playground for little kids and another playground for 5-12. Some shade in the morning but not a lot over the playground as the surrounding trees aren't that big yet. Kids can explore the natural areas off path as well, though I've seen at least one kiddo go pee there so just have to keep...

No restrooms... At least I couldn't find one and the other people there at the time told us there are no restrooms. So i had to leave the park abruptly with my older son and drive to San Mateo downtown.

Otherwise it's a nice small park area- one side for smaller kids, one side for bigger kids. My son enjoyed climbing around...

This seems like such a sweet little park and my daughter really enjoyed exploring it, but I truly cannot understand how it's legal to build a space meant for little kids without a bathroom. I'm very lucky to not be scrubbing the hell out of a car...
