The Father's day buffet spread was limited and many of the dishes were excessively greasy, which detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. Additionally, the price was steep, and to my surprise, coffee was not included and had to be paid for separately.
The abundance of greasy dishes was a letdown. It was disheartening to see promising dishes ruined by their greasy nature, which overshadowed the positive aspects of the meal.
The pricing at this brunch buffet was another disappointment. The cost was higher than expected, considering the mediocre quality of the food. Additionally, the fact that coffee was not included in the buffet price but charged as an extra was surprising and left a sour taste in my mouth. Brunch and coffee typically go hand in hand, and having to pay separately for a cup of coffee seemed unnecessary and added to the overall expense.
In conclusion, the brunch buffet failed to meet my expectations. The excessive greasiness of many dishes, coupled with the high prices and the additional charge for coffee, made for a disappointing experience. If you're looking for a brunch buffet with better quality, reasonable pricing, and inclusive coffee, I would recommend exploring other options before considering this particular...
Read moreIve recently moved back to the area and used to consistently frequent this establishment for brunch,, lunch and dinner. It was great with friends, family and clients especially if you wanted to hit a few balls as well! So I jumped at the chance to go once back in Marin but I have to say the restaurant is not quite as good as it used to be. In the past, you couldn't order a bad dish everything was delicious! As for my recent experiences I highly recommend dining in versus takeout. Specifically, my child ordered a pizza the last time we dined in and it was hands down one of the best pizzas I've eaten in years! We took the leftovers home and they were great the next day. Yet, we ordered the same pizza for takeout during our next visit and it didn't deliver on quality, taste or texture. Pizza is a standard takeout item so we were pretty disappointed. While dining in we also ordered the chicken and shrimp Picatta and it was fairly blah and lacked the distinctive, flavorful taste of butter, lemon and capers, the standard ingredients usually found in a Picatta. Good steaks and pot roast but again I recommend dining in vs. takeout as the only item we ordered for takeout that was good either way was the cajun linguine which was both spicy...
Read moreThis is a good restaurant adjacent to the nine hole golf course at the end of Smith Ranch Road in San Rafael. Most people donât even know itâs there. Varied menu and the food is good the atmosphere is low-key & quiet. The service is good itâs quick the prices are reasonable and itâs convenient being local. One of my favorite dishes is the Asian skirt steak thatâs a really good choice of meat and flavorful $24 with vegetables well worth the money. There is a full bar there are always people at the bar. Itâs a good place to meet some friends and watch a game or just meet friends and shoot the breeze. There are some âregularsâ but itâs a nice crowd, quiet itâs an easy place to relax and enjoy a fine meal. There is also a daily dinner specials check it out you wonât be...
