My Indian family are all vegetarian.
We usually order from Lo'Cocos over in Terra Linda but we decided to give this place a shot because our friend Sunil told us it can be good.
When I entered the place on a late weekend evening, a guy who I thought was the owner (clearly wearing jeans & tee shirt with salt & pepper hair) was yelling at his cashier.
She was almost in tears.
I went back outside because the entryway was pretty busy and wanted to avoid the drama.
So, wow, does the owner not know that if he yells at his staff and blames others for his own downfalls (clearly this guy seems lazy, doesn't seem to get much exercise and orders his staff around rather than lifts a finger) that the customers will feel it and not want to come to his restaurant?
He needs to get into the habit of downloading his anger and rage in a better way like getting into the gym rather than onto innocent people nearby. Clearly this guy carries a lot of hatred in his heart. That can be transmitted to everyone around him and the pizza too!
Once I witnessed that sorry scene, I sent in my friend to get the pizza and will never order from this place again. Lo'Cocos is just a waaay better bet and the staff are all so nice and friendly with each other. Plus, their pizza is...
Read moreIn San Rafael for soccer. Was looking for some carbs for the team (16 14-15 year olds) to take out and eat back at the hotel. This is the place to order from. Called early on a Thursday morning to eat on a Friday night and the man that answered the phone was extremely helpful. (You can order same day) I followed his suggestions, we ordered the perfect amount and the girls loved it. They offer delicious GF options which we've had a hard time finding since we landed (what the heck, this is CA.. I thought gf food were everywhere here!) Even the salad was inhaled and that never happens. Ordering, pickup & eating couldn't have been easier. Highly recommend. Our meal included spaghetti and meatballs (gf and non gf) pizzas (gf & non gf) salad and bread sticks....
Read moreWe live up the hill at the Highlands of Marin so we have eaten here about 3-4 times in the last 12 months. These guys somehow seem to get better every time, serving up great pizza with an awesome selection of beer. To top it off, we came in around 7.55pm on a Wednesday on our last visit, not realizing that they closed at 8pm! We would NEVER normally come in to sit down at a restaurant 5 minutes before they closed, and usually you would get the (understandable) bit of judgement/attitude from the folks working, but once again these guys were amazing, patient and served up some more great food and beer! I wish we ate pizza more often so we could give Mulberry Street Pizza...
