Sha's — Restaurant in San Sebastián

We came to the Gozlandia Waterfall and hiking area to check out the 2 waterfalls. We paid $5 for parking, but found this was money well spent as I am sure it helps to maintain the trails. This restaruant Sha's is right on a pond that does not smell too good (stagnant water), but has a nice atmosphere otherwise. The bar itself looks great, lots of drink choices, and we were there right on time, for happy hour. My dad and I had a beer. After hiking to the two waterfalls, this was so refreshing. We were reluctant to order food here, though we were pretty hungry, and we knew the drive out was going to be a long one. We just didn't want to risk it. What an amazing place! Getting to Sha's is a bit of a trek. Worth it? 10000% The restaurant is located next to a beautiful small waterfall. Check that out! The restaurant itself is quaint, serine, and amazing! I had two drinks a Pina colada - good. And a Gozalandi frozen drink - amazing! We ate a small platter of empanadas, fried pork, plantain chips and other goodies. We had a small - worth it to try so many amazing items! We then ate mofongo and fried pork. Delicious! I was at SHAS in San Sebastian for the first time recently and I cannot say enough about the cleanliness, great service, and awesome food. The mofongo was unbelievable, but their cocktails were first class. What a beautiful resort. A new hotel being built and the most GORGEOUS private waterfalls. The owners and security were great.
