Kale Me Crazy | Health food restaurant Aria Village — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

Unfortunately the service here has changed. First and foremost, I've caught Waji watering down my Smoothie and using non Kale Me Crazy ingredients (like Jiffy Peanut Butter). They are cutting corners. Secondly, after a Hiatus I'd decided to give them a second chance because they are close to home. They're understaffed which I can understand. However, on today I'd gone in to order a Smoothie and it was taking long to prepare so I'd asked to cancel the order. They charged me for another Smoothie instead. I'd asked to be refunded and instead they asked if I could "wait a few minutes they'll prepare my Smoothie fast". I waited and was handed my Smoothie. I'd asked about the refund for the overcharge (I paid for 2 Smoothies) and was told that I had to write my number down and wait to speak with the manager. That's a very shady way to do business! Employees there can take your hard earned money (they can be trusted to do that) yet when they make a mistake they have no ability to refund. That's a problem. The owner is great. The service is great when he's there. I just told them to keep the money, it's not worth the hassle. I will not return there...

My recent experience at Kale Me Crazy was disappointing. Initially, the staff at the store were welcoming and accommodated my request to substitute a bagel for bread, which I appreciated and shared on social media. However, when I returned to the store, they refused to honor the same substitution. After posting and tagging Kale Me Crazy's social media page, they responded positively but only after I mentioned the store's name. They reached out to the store and advised against such actions in the future. This inconsistency and the subsequent response felt unprofessional and left a bad taste. I absolutely love this place! It's a hidden jewel and if I'm not mistaken open a little over a year now. I'm a "Kale Me Crazy" fanatic and have found this location to be the best! I have their Wellness shots daily. The Smoothie choices differentiate but The Warrior, Recovery or Power House are regular favorites and not to mention the Grounded or Go-Getter! I'd totally buy stock in this place. Stephanie is always pleasant and smiling (they all are really) and you'll find the Operating Partner (Shahezad Hudda) in there diligently taking your order and then going to prepare it on any given day.
