Hainesville General Store Deli — Restaurant in Sandyston Township

This place was awesome. They're super kind, the food is really good, and the vibe is on point. You should definitely go there if you are driving through this road. Usually I cram these reviews full of jokes or go on rants but I don't feel comfortable doing that because this place was super awesome and the people were kind. Also the rants aren't like negative, I don't blast the people in the review I just kind of go on a tangent like Michael Scott for a cheap laugh. But if I'm stopped in my tracks that means that this place was just so good I don't want them to misinterpret that joke as a shot at them. So instead I'm going to verbalize my existential dilemma and watch a speech to text documents it for you to read even though you just probably wanted to see if this place had good bagels or coffee., Yes this place has good...

I bought a cowboy Burger which is a burger with barbecue sauce and onion rings. Sadly the onion rings got steamed with a bun on top so they were soggy. The burger itself was the problem. I'm not sure what they did to it but the meat was packed so hard that it was almost inedible. Usually you don't overpack the meat in the burger press and you don't over-handle it because it makes the meat tough. It had decent flavor but I only ate a couple bites and left the rest.

Overall the store is nice. It is clean and they have a very good selection. I would go back but would definitely get...

Well, in the beginning, it was great, it's clean, food was good, coffee not so good. 2nd visit, same sandwich, totally different. Voiced our disappointment to the owner, the words "I'm sorry" never came out of his mouth. We heard every reason why it was perfectly fine, although we said we didn't like it, it was very greasy,it has to much garlic, totally different from the first time...we each only ate less than half, declined bringing the other halves home, and paid full price. So we gave it a try, will not make same...
