First of all the experience working here was great. The work is good and at a fast pace constantly. If you are good at letting people talk to you however they want this is place for you. On your first day, donât expect to be trained. What you will do is pretty simple so they assume training isnât necessary. Youâll have multiple people showing you how to do the job. Mind you I was in (Pack out) and the people I had on my line were super cool and helpful. You donât really hear anything from managers or anyone higher up unless thereâs a mistake or somethings wrong. I worked here for not even one consecutive week and Iâm ready to crawl back to McDonaldâs. The company itself isnât bad. Seems like nobody really knows what theyâre doing when they start and weâre just supposed to be fast. I was told I was being slowâŚI know Iâm not slow but this specific women also treated this elderly employee who we working with. You donât do that. You donât treat people like that. I was super happy about be hired here at fathers table. When I seen how other people including me were being treatedâŚ.I was definitely on my way out. They will continue to loose good people A few of the girls I work with were saying nobody would last. Mhmmm yeah I agree nobody is gonna stay where they donât feel welcome or where they will...
Read moreFor truck drivers-A previous review warned about passing the building because you will end up in a residential area. Good advice that bears repeating. Parking is permitted on the right side across from the business but donât block other business driveways. There were trailers lined up and parked on that side so when I arrived, so there wasnât much room for another tractor and trailer. Bring your drivers license and check in with security at the gate under the tent. They take your number and call and tell you which door when they are ready to load. I had door 3 which involved backing from my parking spot down the street to get set up, pulling into a business driveway across from the docks, backing across the street and stopping often for the steady car traffic and pedestrians, through the chain link fence gate and angled to the right (if facing dock) to get in 3 đ. Once I was in the door, the truck was loaded and ready to go within 30 min. I arrived at 0513, appointment was for 0700, and was out at 0918. Not bad at all. One star lost because of parking and backing challenges. The security person seemed annoyed by my questions. I prefer to clarify procedures at shippers/receivers when I havenât been there before. The photo is looking out toward the gate...
Read moreWhere to start, family table is a good company for there for there quality of cheese cake. Everything is made fresh there. But this company has a lot of problems. I feel bad for the trucker. There r about 4 doors to dock the trucks. Which is located in the front of building inside the employee parking lot. The rule is at father's table that trucks have a right of way. Which is hard of your trying to go home. If the 4 dock are busy expect to be waiting a long time. As an employee for inside there warehouse things get worst. They care about how many products can get made to full out orders. Now if the work more effeminacy this won't be a problem. Meaning I don't need lines of bottom tuperware to try to rush my job. There need to be a space in-between so I'm able to put the next slice of cheese cake on there so they don't have to stop the line ever 10 mins. I have slipped due to cheesecake on the floor and gotten dissy many times due to staring at the belt. They have mandatory overtime meaning work six times a week for 10 to 12 hours or more. For the line assembly it a bit to cramp to work in. At least they give you breaks and meal and be able to which...
