My daughter's boyfriend recommended this place to us a couple of months ago and said it is quickly become his favorite sushi spot. We got an a sushi mood and decided to check it out for lunch and we're very impressed! The location is very easy to find, it is very clean, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious! Several times during our meal people came by to check on us and they were genuinely making sure that we were good. Many times in restaurants it seems like an obligation, but here, they really care. We got a chance to meet the owners and have a chat with them and we're even more impressed with their warmth, grace and they seem to welcome us as if we were coming into their own home. As for the food, we got some shrimp tempura, some firecrackers, a spicy scallop hand roll and a couple of rolls from the menu. The 911 roll and the popcorn lobster roll. Each selection was just as good as the last. This is not your cookie cutter sushi place. This is a place that genuinely cares about your dining experience from the time you walk into the time you leave. I have become an immediate fan and we will definitely be back! This was my first time trying this restaurant and it was a HORRIBLE experience! I called to place an order for two sushi rolls and was told it would take 20-30 minutes to be ready. I show up at the restaurant 20 minutes later and let them know I’m picking up and to my surprise, the boy who had taken my order over the phone never placed the order. They advise it will be between 15-20 minutes and so I pay for it and wait for my order inside the restaurant. 20 minutes go by and still nothing. My boyfriend gets up to ask about our order and we get told another 10 minutes. We wait yet again and I get up and ask about our order and get told again that it will be an additional 10-15 minutes! At this point we ask to cancel our order and get a refund and the worker Angelica gave us bitchy attitude after saying we wanted a refund. She didn’t even offer to give us a receipt until I asked for one. Instead of hiring kids to work this restaurant, hire more chefs if you’re so understaffed and teach these little kids actual customer service. Horrible experience and never again coming here.
