The Grille at DeLaveaga has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in town for lunch. It’s a newly remodeled and beautiful space surrounded by and amazing park-like setting. I really look forward to coming here. I usually get the garden salad with chicken and balsamic dressing and cup of soup. The chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The salad is always fresh with beets, bell peppers, carrots, and tomatoes. I’ve had the soup of the day four times now and all have been creative and quite delicious. My favorite sandwich is the club - “The Superintendent”. It’s possibly the best club sandwich I’ve ever had. The beer, wine, and spirits selection is awesome. They have 3-4 local taps and a variety of other draft beer including a great beer from Fort Point Beer Company in San Francisco- Villager IPA. There are views of the Monterey Bay and the golf course as well as a great outdoor seating area on the deck. I’m hoping they open for dinner soon and I haven’t tried their breakfast/ brunch options but I plan to because the menu looks great! This is a great spot and don’t forget to stop by the Rangeside bar near the driving...
Read moreI went here randomly with my 3 daughters. Just was looking for a place that had brunch. I figured a country club would be cool since it was a beautiful day. As soon as we entered we were greated and seated by the host. We sat outside which had incredible views. The waitress told us about the upgraded menu. They brought drinks promptly. The kids all ordered something to their liking, which rarely happens😅. To my surprise the chef actually came out to ask us about personal preferences with each oreder and if we would like anything else. Very friendly, i think the chef's name was Adam. The kids all of course had input on all of their meals. Drinks arrived witjin minutes. Food arrived i think within 20 minutes. Everyone enjoyed their food. Sreak and eggs was fireeeeeeeeeeeeeee btw. Highly recommended, kids all ate everything! Definitely...
Read moreVery bad experience. Ordered breakfast, bacon and scrambled eggs, hash browns with sourdough toast. Fifteen minutes later it was brought out. Bacon was cold, toast was cold as the butter they brought on side could not melt, and the scrambled eggs had chunks of hard yellow egg yolks in them. This tells me the cook was too lazy to blend the eggs together for a consistentcy before cooking. The manager brought breakfast out, but when I examined my plate, I got up and took my plate to her and started to explain what was wrong. She did not want to hear my grivience and walked over to the server to handle. Very very unprofessional. If the former owner George could see what I experienced, he would turn over in his...
