Dear Jack in the Box Corporate Office Date: November 26, 2023Dear Jack in the Box Management,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and recurring errors at the Jack in the Box location at 8500 Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071.Incident Date: November 26, 2023On the mentioned date, I placed an order totaling $19.03, which included 2 tacos, a Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, 8 nuggets, and 5 churros. Upon arriving home, I realized that instead of the Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, I received a $3 breakfast burger. This was not what I ordered or paid for.Immediate Response and Issue:I promptly called the store to address this error. The manager, identified as Mayra or Maira, answered the call. I explained the situation and expressed my concern that such errors have been a recurring issue. Initially, she offered to replace the burger but asked for my name and phone number. When I insisted on a refund due to the frequency of such mistakes, her response was unprofessional and dismissive. She refused to take down my information unless it was for a replacement burger and stated that I would need to return immediately if I wanted a refund, as she was leaving soon.This response was not only unhelpful but also rude. Her refusal to accommodate a reasonable request and the abrupt termination of our call were both unacceptable and unprofessional.Expectations and Resolution:As a regular customer, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and the lack of accountability in rectifying mistakes. Read moreWas on a gig delivery for customer on 7/27/23. I get to magnolia drive thru 2am, identifying I was there to pick up for customer giving name and order number. Drove to window repeating customer name and order number only to have this cashier ask to see my phone...Me quite baffled I asked did she not understand or hear me when I gave her customer info. She said that her manager said that they have to ask to see our phone in order to pick up order. Me baffled again. I told her that this was quite insulting. Left store to complete delivery and low and behold I get another delivery from this store. I drive up identifying who I am picking up for and customer information. I get to the window and keep in mind I'm the only car in the drive thru and it takes 7mins for her to come to the window. She asks who is this for, I tell her and she says I need to see your phone. I politely said no you will not see my phone I gave you the Information and as I said before this is very insulting. She then said well you're not getting the food, closed the window and would not return to the front. I sat there for at least 15 minutes as I called support and the customer to inform them what was going on. I let my support know that I would show this cashier my phone so the customer would get his food. I blew my horn and knocked on the window and this girl never came back to the window. I had to cancel the order and go to another jitb. I know my job and really don't need a jack in the box worker demanding to see MY phone. I mean am I gonna come to a jitb at 2am randomly asking for an order that was not meant for me to pick up but have the customers name and order number. I feel that she was out of line doing way to much. Send her back to basic training who the heck does she think she is. How dare she!
