Los Tequilas — Restaurant in Sapulpa

This place has the best chicken soup in Sapulpa, UNFORTUNATELY they do not give a crap about their people who order to go/ delivery. I have ordered door dash and call in and I'm always disappointed. When we order guacamole and cheese dip, they do NOT provide bags of chips for those dips. You get one bag of chips for your salsa and that's it. I've even asked if you do not get a bag of chips per dip and they said it depends on how much money is spent. So a 40$ order is only worth 1 bag of chips. The last straw came last night when I ordered soup and they placed a heavier cup on top of the soup, causing the lid to be smashed and my soup to get plastic in it. Very disappointed. I'm a health care worker who spends hours of day on my feet in surgery, some times I don't want to take the effort to go out and have a sit down dinner. Sometimes I'd rather order to go. And since I tip, I'd like to be treated like a sit down diner. But this place...

I have eaten there at least 4 times in the last month or so. I went this afternoon after 3 pm and ordered the chicken quesadilla and requested extra cheese INSIDE the quesadilla. I don’t know if it was a language issue, but when it was delivered, there was a large bowl of grated white cheese served SEPARATELY! Like a side! I opened the quesadilla as best I could and added it, but it was too much! My waitress disappeared and another brought the extra napkins I requested and my food NEVER heard or saw another person again!! No opportunity to talk about it with anyone, so paid (about $3.00) extra for what should have been cooked inside!! The fact that there was no follow up, including any interaction, means they must not need my business! I was the ONLY customer there at the time!! And yes, I have always tipped well!! I love the food at Los Tequilas, but the last time I was in there I ordered something with seafood in it.

It was so disgusting. I bit into a piece of shrimp and the smell was horrific. I picked through the food and smelled every piece of seafood on the plate. I can only describe it as a cross between extremely bad breath and several day old roadkill.

Of course, I didn’t eat anymore. I just got up, paid and left. I normally have a good experience here, but this time it was bad.

I know this isn’t a seafood joint...but if a restaurant wants to stay open and do good, you must serve only fresh food. Or don’t serve anything that doesn’t sell as often.

Or maybe the patrons should just NOT ORDER THE SEAFOOD.

The service is always good and quick. The staff is always friendly. I will be going back. But I’ll stick with the Pollo Loco...
