Our Family Cafe — Restaurant in Sayre

This is a wonderful family run cafe. We stopped on our way back from Tulsa to Amarillo. The food was amazing. My husband had the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy. He loved it. The waitress was the owner and she had made the meatloaf that morning. I had a hamburger with homemade chips. One of the best burgers I have had in a very long time. The bun was made fresh that morning. We also had butter pecan cake with icing that was made with carmel. It was delicious and really moist. Our whole two meals with drinks was under $20! We are toying with the idea of driving there for Thanksgiving meal. It is located in Sayer along hwy 40. You will miss out if you don’t stop...

Enjoyed every bit of our meal. Homemade everything. Wife had Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed and Green Beans. It was just like my great aunt used to make! Chicken Fry done on the flat top, Mashed Potatoes were real potatoes, Green Beans reminded me of fresh from the garden as a kid. Just before they were canned. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fresh cut fries. Burger bun homemade soft a fluffy, patty and bacon were cooked well with fresh veggies. Fried pickles house made crispy. Hawaiian Delight cake was just that delightful! Highly recommend! Will be back next time in Sayre! Service was great! Also the thing that makes a great hometown cafe!...

When we pulled up it looked closed & dark. Had to check door to verify. The view from road should be brighter & inviting. The inside was very nice, clean & open area. My husband didn't care for his grolled chicken because it was dried out & very thin. My food was ok. We didn't complain but waitress noticed and took his meal off the bill.
