Asked him if he could come up with a halal style chicken over rice with whatever he had back there and he quickly agreed and even seemed excited to try it out. The result was not only a sight to behold, but God damn was it good. I went back in and thanked him a second time after i finished the food in 5 minutes flat, seriously made my day between the extremely fair price on something that was not on the menu and the passion in his eyes for what he does. Read moreThis is an exciting addition to the neighborhood. Nestled inside a convenience store their platters are GENEROUSLY sized and delicious. I bought 2 mixed platters to go and when I got home the fries were still crispy, didn’t get soggy like most places. I asked for the white and hot sauces on the side (always do for platters). The white sauce is a little different than most platter places I’ve eaten at. There is a small table to eat at if you want to stay in and eat. But not typical restaurant because it’s within the convenience store.
The owner (I think he is) Alaa, was very kind and generous. I will be coming back! I hope they do well...
