My husband placed an order to satisfy my pregnancy cravings so I could pick it up on my way home from work. When he placed it, (after waiting on hold for 10mins. We understand being busy.) he was about to pay and the lady told him suddenly she had other customers and couldn’t take payment then hung up. He was upset that he was abruptly hung up on like anyone would be. He called back and spoke to another lady to find out the order that was taken wasn’t correct (that was off the menu with a request to deep fry two burritos) but she was very helpful and corrected it and took payment.
I arrive to pick it up after I’m off of work, I tell them the name for who the order is under. The girl behind the counter started smirking and then walked away, while the man that I spoke to (assuming the manager since he had an ear piece/headset) got an attitude. Spoke to another employee really quickly stating my order in Spanish for it to be grabbed. He had me sign the receipt and then decided to be disrespectful and lie. He chewed me out claiming that he spoke with my husband and stating this 3 times, and continued on treating me poorly like I was the one who caused the issue. Then ended it saying he wasn’t happy with my husband. He talked down to me in a lobby full of customers waiting to either be seated or pick up their order.
I have never once experienced this from anyone in the service industry, and coming from working in it myself. This behavior sickens and saddens me. I went back and told him when the lobby was cleared out so I didn’t embarrass him that how his behavior and attitude was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional in other words. I told him that since he stated that our order was to difficult (even though it’s the only things we have ordered from there for 3 years.) then we will no longer order to make their lives easier and to not get anymore disrespect.
After all of this I was still given the wrong order at the end.

Each time I have been disappointed to find food leaked all over the inside of the bag. It’s because of the way it was packaged. The liquid proportion is put at the bottom in a container with a cardboard top. The weight of the rice and beans above it, in a different container, compresses the dish underneath. It’s also disappointing to wait 20 minutes when you arrive after the time they say it will be ready for pick up. Recently, I stopped in to order a moderarate take out order for game night at my home, and to explain the packaging issue to prevent said issue. I spoke to an English speaking blonde behind the counter. She explained they couldn’t tell what was made in any container when packaging. A nice gentleman came up, who I believe was a supervisor, asked how he could assist. Even though he was looking at me when he asked, the blonde immediately explained the situation in Spanish. Even though everyone spoke great English. I found this to be extremely disrespectful. I know some Spanish, but it makes one wonder what she said. He didn’t respond to her in Spanish and immediately engaged me, which was great. His suggestion was to ask for liquid food be packaged in a bowl container when I order. I ordered $70 food, drove home to St Helens only to have go back to pick up a meal that was left out. One of my guests had to wait to eat. I love their food and some people are really nice. I feel they lack customer service skills, and could benefit from revamping. I have had some friends and family complain about the customer service. Not only did it take forever to get refills and our food, we never seen our waiter after he took our order, he couldnt even keep up with he amount of tables he was getting, so we ask other employee for some service and they acted like it was an inconvenience. Everyone here lacks basic customer service skills and obviously doesn't staff well. I would never go back to this place, I politely asked the waitress that was helping the other waiter that I didnt like my dish but did not want another one, so when the bill came the plate was still on the bill even though I didnt eat anything.(which at most decent place they would of comped the food, but it wasnt just about that) I spoke to LUIS the boss who was beyond rude to me. He told me that he "didnt care that I didnt like my food and that I should of ordered something else." I can not believe the lack of respect and consideration that this guy had.
