Ok how to start . First there were only two people in place so we stopped for a quick bite lol wrong. The lady working there was to busy talking about everything under the sun. Finally came over to us to take our drink order which was two cokes took bout 10 minutes to get them with her talking about her daughter and some guy. Finally got to place our order which was two burgers and regular fries. As she continued to talk to other people that were there and numerous other people that were filtering into the place. We decided to play a game of pool since it has been like 20 and she still hasn't even started our order . Was contemplating leaving . Finally she decided to make our order after waiting on other people that came in after us. We only seen her wash her hands once as she stuck her dirty hands into the ground meat to make our burgers after 35 minutes of waiting. The only time she really acknowledged us was when we were leaving . So service sucked . Asked twice for ketchup and was ignored and other patron got it for me. And said she was busy.. really ? Worst service I ever had in this place. Fries were the only thing good and worth eating. This lady need to wash her hands !! And quit worrying about gossip and put more interest in customers.

Little small town bar/restaurant. We had a large party. 50 plus people after a funeral service. This small place kept the full menu open and took individual orders with about 6 staff. A few folks ate later while others were done but it was as well run as a large chain restaurants with less missed orders. The staff worked their tail off giving us hot and well made food. I hope the tips were all generous as this crew deserved it. 2nd time in same results. Super nice staff, hard working service with tasty food. Just a nice place.

We came from Pittsburgh and wanted to find a new place in the area. Had great reviews so we figured we would try it out. We weren't disappointed. Food was great, roast beef was so tender and delicious and service was excellent. We will definitely stop back when in the area.

If your looking to be given an attitude by the bartender, this is your place! My cousin and I went for a drink and a quick bite. They have bottles of liquor along with beer to serve. We sat down at the bar and was asked what we were having. But first was asked for ID, which is fine. The bartender looked at them for a long time and asked shrudely what we were going to order. I asked for an old fashioned. "What's that", I was asked rudely. I explained it to her. Her response was "this is a plain jane kind of place". Ok, do you have any 7 up? No, Sierra mist. What about ginger ale? "No, this is a plain jane kind of place" with a snarky response. "Can I just have Jim beam, up?" My cousin didn't quite know what they had for beer and wasn't told. She asked what he was having. "I'm not quite sure yet", he replied. She rolled her eyes and walked away to go get a food order. While walking by us she said, "I'm done dealing with people today." She came back and bellowed out" you want jim beam with ice?" I said no, i want it up. Her response was, "I don't know what that is." My response was "without ice". She didn't ask my cousin what he wanted at all. She asked one or two shots? My reply was, "one will be fine". She put my drink in a shot glass, not a regular glass and said to me "You can leave if you don't like it". I grabbed my wallet and said "ok, we are leaving". Looking at our license, she should have known we are locals and word of mouth travels fast, especially in a small town. NEVER AGAIN WILL I NOR MY FAMILY BE GOING TO THIS...

So when you go under new management, you should take the time to go over new menu items and learning HOW to cook the meals correctly, not just skim by on a wing and a prayer, taking a couple of weeks off to remodel is okay but you gotta work on the actual business side and how to treat guests that come into your establishment and that means training your staff on how to wait on customers, on how to not act like they are above other people. Also cooking the food to where it is NOT raw or half cooked is not good especially if you were ever to get a food inspector there to see if the food is actually being prepared correctly.

Also if someone asks for a refund DONT KEEP THE TIP!!!! Do better and keep your local customers cause you aren’t gonna get many tourists who don’t know where the building is that are not from around here, and not just on facebook where not a lot of older folks have access too. Just saying. Oh and taking away the pool table...
