Very cute aesthetic and the location is cozy. The food was underwhelming and the price did not fit the quality. I don’t know what Kind of egg this is or how it was cooked but I did not enjoy the flavors at all. The muffins looked delicious and I’m sure they are good for a coffee and a pastry BUT I would not consider this cafe for major meals. Also, I found the service counter odd, it reminded me of a drive thru bank teller… pushing trays back and fourth to deliver change pens and bottle openers 🤔

Holy moly this spot was amazing. A breath of fresh air. Again. Another spot I had never been too in Scituate. I had no idea it was even here, but man oh man was it incredible. It is small so if you can maybe get carryout. But in all seriousness you need to get her and try something. ASAP! Update: I was back again a couple times recently. Best tuna salad I’ve ever had. Every sandwich is incredible. Easily the best sandwich spot in scituate.

Wow! I can’t believe I’m just finding this place after a year of living in Scituate. I’ve tried my fair share of breakfast burritos on the south shore and Circe’s just does it the best. Looking forward to going back for lunch! (Chocolate chip cookies are good too!)

Just went here the other day to order lunch, went in with my girlfriend and was immediately yelled at for standing in the wrong location when there is markings on the ground the size of a quarter. You pretty much need a telescope to see it. Then as we’re ordering the 2 women inside seemed so annoyed as we were saying what we wanted. You can tell their husbands just make them do something during the day and they have no interest in being there. Then after we ordered just 2 sandwiches they told us it was going to be a 45 min wait. 95% of other restaurants in the area could cook you a full thanksgiving dinner in that time frame. I would only recommend going here if you called in an order and plan on spending as little time as possible inside, because if your in there longer than 5 mins prepare...

Working on a house in the area and our crew called and ordered from here. I have been ordering the same order for 12 years from this place. The girl on the phone took the order wrong and made THREE of the sandwiches incorrectly. When i called and asked what to do the OWNER immediately had an attitude and let me know her policy is to do nothing to correct orders that they mess up. We spent $80 and she told us they were going to do nothing. No refund. No new correct lunch. Nothing. $80 plus a tip and the woman who ones this place said “get over it, it’s just lunch people are starving in the world you can get by one work day with no food.”...

In the plaza the Circe's Grotto is the furthest to the left in the plaza. I stopped in for a quick bite and I arrived 8 minutes before closing and the gentlelady Susan was just a doll. More welcoming than ever she was patient with me and was very thoughtful to include napkins and a smile. I will have to return for the breakfast burrito action. There is plenty of parking here, but the inside seating area is kind of small. The front door has this rustic feel about it. And the Red Velvet Cupcakes are sweet and...
