I am highly disappointed with the lack of communication between the management and the patron and the unorganized way of the booking of the rooms. I made my reservation 2 1/2 months in advance in person. My daughter lives locally and I was going to be coming in for her wedding from another state. I received my email confirmation. Upon my arrival, the night before her wedding with my daughter. Our one last night alone together. I was told that I did not book the King Suite. I showed my reservation confirmation. They new management confirmed I did not have the room and said "I do not know what to do!!" I had booked for 3 consecutive nights. They gave my room away to another bride & groom. I made the suggestion that the room stay with the current bride but that we could take a different room for this first night and then switch for the other two nights. No Problem! Good idea! Why did I have to come up with a solution? The next night, the night of my daughters wedding (Sunday) they arrived to find the doors locked and could not get in it was 10:00pm ! Thank goodness another wedding guest was also staying at the Inn. They got dressed and came down to let my daughter and her groom in! My frustration is in the fact that we were never told that the doors will be locked after a certain time. Never given a door key. We had to move all of our belongings from one room to another, because they were "too busy" and they never not one time mentioned in anything in person or online that there is not breakfast available!! It is a Inn with a full kitchen and bar and it is not open to the room paying guests, even for an hour I the morning. Are you kidding me!!! This inn is in the middle of the woods! Where do they think you are supposed to break your fast? On the meager muffins the put in your room the night before. The rooms are average, not worth the cost of $160 per night when you cannot even lay in bed and watch tv, or in a comfortable chair to watch in the in suite. They give you powdered cream for your coffee that you have to make yourself, When there is a refrigerator in the room where fresh cream could be placed. This is an inn, it is supposed to be a step up form a hotel!!! The new management and owners needs to stay in each room and find the flaws before they book any more guests! ...

The building was cute, and the entry door had a castle vibe. The decor was a rustic stone, and wood with a fireplace in the main dining hall. We arrived on a Thursday afternoon, so it was not crowded at all, and we were seated immediately. There were 2-4 person round tables, a bar section, and bench seating. We were seated at a corner bench seat. The staff was really friendly. Our server, Brianna was super friendly even when my daughter told her stories about how when she's feeling sick, everyone tells her she is whining. Through out lunch my middle son continued to ask how the fire alarm works, while mocking as if he was going to pull it, and Brianna remained kind, and understanding the entire time. It is an amazing feeling as a parent, when your kids are being kids, that you meet understanding and kindness instead of judgement.||||||Dining Experience||||Brianna took our orders swiftly, and food was brought out without delay. The lunch menu consisted of a few appetizers, salads, flatbreads, and sandwiches. The children's menu had all the staples; mac and cheese, chicken tenders, pasta, and hamburgers. Upon arrival all food appeared appetizing, smelled good, was at a warm temperature, and was very flavorful. The portion size of the burger/sandwich was fairly large, with an average sized side dish. The child portions were equal size to adult portion size, which I love, because while my kids could not eat that much in one sitting, we took it to go, and they ate it for dinner. They had full bar selections with festive St paddy's day specials. Value was amazing. For 5 of us to have lunch the bill was under $55, which for a family of 5, is great!||||Pros and Cons||Pros were the price, the courtesy and friendliness of staff, the food, and the bar selection, Cons, now keep in mind I was there on a Thursday afternoon, but the crowd seemed to be a more mature crowd, and not particularly geared towards families. That being said, they were incredibly accommodating for our crazy crowd. ||||Overall, we were very pleased with this restaurant, and I would love to stay there on a weekend get away in one of their bed and...
