Went in tonight for a long over due date night. We were seated in the middle of the dining area at a small table for two. I asked if we might sit at a different table (I wanted to be able to have a private conversation) was told no. When we opted to leave and go somewhere more conducive to conversation, the kid who seated us made a big to do...loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. I won't ever go back after being treated like that. He was a complete jerk.
Update: CM2, you missed the point. I didn't post the bad review because you wouldn't seat me at the table of my choice. I posted that bad review because when we chose to leave because the table didn't meet our needs, your host made a stink about it...rather loudly at that. We were walking out the door and we could hear him from where he stood in the back of the restaurant. Your host's customer service skills are lacking to...
Read moreLots of great food options- tonight’s specials, fabulous pizza, a full menu from Casa Mía next door, a great wine list or cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages as well. I had the soup - delicious! - followed by the Mahi-mahi as my entree. My husband had the Butcher Cuts pizza with extra sausage. The handmade sausage - one of Nantas’ skills- is better than Schreiner’s. Nantas the owner has a great palate and curates the wine list. I asked him for a red that would work well with both of our entrees and he did not disappoint! A delicious, well balanced Barbera. If you have a sweet tooth, leave room for dessert! The cookies in the case are enticing to have with am coffee or eat them here. Many other decadent choices, too. They have a nice music soundtrack playing and beautiful, relaxing scenery on the tv. Their pizza and wine can taken home, if...
Read moreWe had dined at neighboring Casa Mia before and enjoyed our meals there. So we wanted to try the pizza at CM2 and had a great experience. Their pizza was delicious, with a light crispy crust and not overloaded with oil or butter.
We ordered 3 pizzas because we couldn't decide on one each. So we had the 4 Seasons, Salmone and the Norma. They were excellent, but the standout was the Salmone. It's definitely a must try if you enjoy smoked salmon on a pizza.
All of the ingredients are fresh, and their sauce is flavorful and the perfect consistency.
We also had the lava cake for dessert, and it was great too.
Service was excellent and the owner is a pleasure to talk with. CM2 is a great casual option for those looking for some delicious pizza and don't want to deal with the traffic and congestion of old Town Scottsdale or...
