I wandered into the desert pony during my stay at the hotel mid afternoon every day I was there, and was greeted by staff who made my afternoons in that spot, my favorite part of my stay. Every staff member was warm and inviting. The food is really very nice, simple selection of well prepared dishes that offered variety, while focusing on what I think they know they do well. It was also a menu that offered many a ‘good meal’ when it’s hard to find some of that simpler goodness while traveling. Personally, I got stuck on the happy hour cheese crisp For my afternoon fair, but I did sample A plate from every portion of the menu. It was all really good. Bethany and Barbra are ladies of such magnificent radiance with colorful wit and in tandem with their stellar service I cannot recommend them or the beautiful view and atmosphere enough. They had live music In the evening hours and I was surprised at how good he was as He sang Dave Matthews, and I haven’t heard those songs live since I was in college. The food is really Very competent. I never ordered anything that I didn’t think wasn’t really well prepared and presented. From what I saw, they had a really nice selection on draft, Bottle options as well, their bartenders really know their craft as I didn’t see any mixers really. It’s a great place for a drink and a good something to eat with a really nice inside/outside atmosphere. Stop by, I don’t think you’ll be...
Read moreThe food was outstanding. The service was atrocious. We sat in the lobby since the patio wasn’t available and I’m pretty sure they forgot about us. The waitress brought our beverages and took our order and then we didn’t see her again for an hour. No refills. No check-ins. After over an hour we got our food (there was only 2 of us, not a big order…an hour to make a sandwich and a hamburger??). The order was slightly wrong and the food wasn’t warm….still tasted good but another sign that we had been forgotten by her. The waitress finally came back after we received our food and popped by and was already retreating when we asked if we could get a refill (first and only one we got). My wife asked for the check when we got the refill because she was afraid we’d never see the waitress again. She brought the check and left (once again, no refill). We waited another 20 minutes and she never came back for the check so we just gave cash and left. Unfortunately that left her a better tip than was deserved. I can’t remember the last time we had service this bad. So here’s a tip….don’t sit out in the lobby I guess? It’s a great view and the music was awesome - but you cease to exist...
Read moreCame here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Absolutely beautiful space with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining. Food came out quickly, looked great, and tasted incredible. It was like a Taylor Swift concert in my mouth without the headache of dealing with Ticketmaster. The pastrami sandwich may have been the best I’ve ever had. Reminded me of some of my favorite Jewish delis. Also had the opportunity to meet the Executive Chef, who came out and introduced himself and went over the menu with us. Absolutely thrilled to have a great restaurant in such a convenient location. It’s also kid friendly which is a huge plus. Definitely looking forward...
