China King — Restaurant in Scottsville

Recently moved to Kentucky and a friend treated me to China King in Scottsville a few weeks ago. We had the buffet and I ate so much I couldn't begin to tell you what I ate, except that all of it was delicious! Service was friendly and the restaurant very clean...even the bathroom. Tonight I went and ordered off their menu to-go. I ordered the moo Goo Gai Pan platter ( spelling???), it was still steaming hot once home and it's a good drive. The flavors were impeccable and I'm stuffed lol. I still have leftovers for tomorrow 😁 I also ordered the crab Rangoon and they are full of the cream cheese filling and so tasty. I ordered the egg drop soup and it is the best I have ever had by far! I forced myself to not eat it all so that I can reheat for breakfast in the morning with toast. Very rich flavor and the color is a golden yellow/orange... they must be using fresh country eggs. Next time I will order two because it is that good! The young girl working the register was very kind and patient. Thank you to all the kitchen staff who go unseen....kitchen staff knows what they are...

Food was great people where great. We dined in. The total for 2 adults and 1 5yr old was little over 45$ just putting this on here because i couldnt find there buffet price on the website. 13.99 for adults and 5yr old is 7.99 which was a little expensive for a child specially at 5 and under she eats like a bird she didnt even eat half a plate and had a small amount of puddling just doesnt seem worth it for the kids but the adult price was very resonable because its freaking delicious and all you can eat we usually eat and leave but if you want to take the family out sit down talk and chat and snack for a while i highly suggest visiting this little place. Would go more often if the childs price was little lower most places a child meal is only 6$. The people are fantastic truly sweet amazing people and the waitresses are so sweet and very good at keeping refills and everything as soon as you need it...

Seriously the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. VERY CLEAN and well monitored. I’ve long since abated Chinese food. I’ve long since abated buffet joints. This place has an excellent buffet, great tasting food with a large variety of choices. Management is on the spot paying close attention to everything. Service was friendly and the prices absolutely unbeatable. The quality and taste of the dishes was surprisingly delicious. I still don’t put buffets back on my to do list but this place is on my all time wanna go there again and again places. I don’t say this lightly this place separates itself from all the other Chinese food anywhere I’ve tried. Doesn’t look like much from the outside almost hole in the wall retail strip place. It’s a disguise for the top notch affair going on inside. You gotta try...
