Looks very fresh. Prices oy slightly higher than a grocery store but here everything looks vfrty fresh. Shop doesn't smell like fish either. There's a very big selection of frozen seafood. They even have an entire small octopus! There's pasta too that's frozen. Think I'd like to try their crab or lobster bisques. Only giving 4 starts because I haven't tasted my shrimp and salmon. One downfall is street parking only and there is so much snow that hasn't been removed that is difficult to park with part of the street taken up by snow piles. I have been purchasing my sashimi grade Ahi Tuna and Salmon from Southside Seafood for a couple of years now. The quality is always great and service is always speedy and helpful. I've never had a problem down there, it's always quickly in and quickly out with exactly what I want and the cuts are always great. It's great to have a place in this area to get sushi grade tuna and salmon. My only wish is that they would have some other sashimi grade options other than Tuna and Salmon. Until then, I get the rest of my sushi meat online...

This was my first visit to Southside Seafood, and I will be returning. The seafood selection looked and tasted fresh. I wish I had known of this location before because while local supermarkets sell seafood, the selections in my opinion are not fresh but just freshly defrosted. Southside Seafood will be my place of choice from now on. Thank you!!!
