Edgewater Beach & Cabana Club — Restaurant in Sea Bright

Many consider this the premier beach club in this area. Unfortunately, it seems that the management knows this and is not treating its members as such because there is a waiting list.

It is a beautiful facility. There is no doubt. But, that cannot be all you offer.

Prices are extraordinarily high, yet there are often not enough chairs for members, a new policy was instituted where members can only get a set amount of umbrellas. Why won't the club purchase more of these items?

This year, they opened the club to walk on memberships so it is extremely crowded on the weekends and holidays. Prices keep increasing. Guest passes cost a fortune. The food is passable.

If you are ok with all of this for $10 - $16,000, then by all means join. However, I am not holding out hope that the management recognizes the flaws and will fix them. For this kind of money, the members should feel fewer inconveniences; in fact, they should feel as if they are being catered to.

horrible experience, Called in advance to ask about guest passes they said $30 per guest, drove 3h from NYC and could not get in because I do not have member guests pass, I have tried to explain to one of the guy who is in charge there, a guy around 80 yrs old and he said to me "it does not matter what the website or the receptionist says, you can not get in, the receptionist is new" very rude person... We had our wedding here on 9/18/16 and everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Christina was on top of everything from start to finish, and was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. The staff was very pleasant and worked the party seamlessly.
