Lucky's — Restaurant in Seabrook

Restaurant was nice, clean. Our waitress was super friendly. My wife ordered a salad with chicken that she liked. I ordered the steak tips. I believe they were $27. The portion size (4 tips) was not near any other restaurant amount. The tips were not large either. Ordered the sides, broccoli and a salad which were good. The drinks were good too. It wasn't our waitress that brought our food. I actually couldn't have served that to a customer seeing the small portion. I almost took a picture. I didn't say anything, but after the show at The Brook, my wife asked me if I wanted to stop at McDonalds to get a burger, because of the small portion. I didn't say anything at dinner time either. After seeing some of the reviews I see I shouldn't have gotten the tips. Marinade on the tips was nice, but really dry. The restaurant is very nice, workers were nice. Waitress was great & attentive now on to the food. First off the food here is definitely better than the food at the Brook itself with that being said the food we got at Lucky's could use a little help. We had the chicken wings for an app and they were awesome. The sauce has a little kick to it so if you don't mind some heat in flavor then I highly recommend them. As for the entrees we got the shrimp scampi & steak tips. The scampi sauce is listed as a butter cream sauce so not sure why but it was super thick & cheesy & shrimps were over cooked. As for the steak tips they were cooked a perfect medium-rare but had zero flavor no seasoning or marinade just bland meat. We had a wonderful lunch last week at Lucky's sitting at the bar! The food was outstanding... I had the rueben and the corned beef was nice and lean... bread grilled just right and the French fries were to die for! The margaritas were amazing... fresh lime juice, no sour mix. Yum! My friend had the fish and chips and she loved it... the batter wasn't too thick on the fish and it was perfectly crispy, not oily and heavy. But, the shining star was Melinda, the bartender! We were newbies to the Brook and she told us the advantages to getting the Brook card, told us to place our order for lunch and go directly to the Gold Desk to get the card, play one quick slots game to activate our card and our lunch would be just getting out of the kitchen when we get back.
