First time visiting the Seagoville location. The atmosphere was great, great music totally vib'n! Cleanliness and patio are fantastic. Service was high, then feel.
Upon our arrival, all was great. Around 745-8pm, we noticed the restrooms being cleaned. It's not a bad thing since all was really clean. Cool breeze, in the patio, and all the vibes made us feel calm after a rough week and to spend more money. So we got a bucket of beers around 8 pm. I asked one one is the staff who was cleaning, "What time do you all close?" Staff: 9pm.
Ok, great. More than enough time for us to finish the bucket, so we thought. By 825pm, yes, we know the times because we began to feel rushed. By 835pm, the music turned off, and all the patio TVs were turned off and covered, followed by the lights inside being turned off. We rushed to fished a bucket of 5 and walked out. We looked at the front of the restaurant, and even the "OPEN" sign was off. So much for 9p...
We work hard for our money and do not hesitate to spend or drive a distance for some good food and vibes. Well, this quickly fell off our list and will let our family and friends know. I hope they change and will be profitable...
Read moreMy only regret with this location is that the particular cashier we had charged us for 2 extra pieces of fish planks when the order was placed for 1 two piece fish basket no fries and one 2 piece combo with fries and 1 sweet potato pie. You got that one and definitely won't get another. I was paying attention yet didn't want to cause a scene. To go order boats were stack on top of each other with no foil or parchment paper to separate them. All condiments were stacked in one of the boats. No napkins or plasticware was given even though we were going to 2 separate locations. No printed Togo menus were available. I asked the price of a fish sandwich and was told 15 dollars for one that's why we chose the 2 piece fish boats which were less expensive. Fish was nicely seasoned yet cooked a little too hard. Pay attention to your receipts and amount being charged by young cashier on...
Read moreFirst and likely my last visit to the Seagoville location...visited on 3/26/25. I was excited to have a fish spot in the city. I've been to the Forney location many times so imagine my excitement. Service was good, nice patio area but failed on the food. The 4 piece fish & shrimp basket was just 2 pieces of fish cut into halfs to make 4 pieces..smh. Taste wasn't bad and I could give the fish another chance but for almost $20 give me whole pieces. Now the chicken...Big No! Imagine bitting into a nice size piece of chicken just to see it wasn't done. All the chicken was pink!!! Complete failure...never again! It only takes one time to serve me uncooked food. I so wanted to support but it's...
