Our first time was a real treat as far as the food is concerned. The time waiting was reasonable fir the food. Nice size portions. It arrived hot, freshand very tasty. Salad with the Bleu cheese dressing had nice size chunks of B. C. My guess is they make it or use Ken's dressings. One of the better restaurants dressing out on the market. That being said, our waitress, never smiled , was polite not very attentive. Needed to ask how where doing , not wait till where done eating for refiles on drinks. We need to ask for containers to go. Brought the check then ask if we wanted dessert. I fo admit when first getting there, gave us the menus and asked if we wanted appetizers before we even looked at the menu. I left a nice tip, & we enjoyed the food. We will be back, In my career as a restaurant owner, key for waitress should be more open , friendly, smile alot even on bad day's. Tips are earned not taken for granted, it has a meaning. To Insure Proper Service. One more personal note is They do military discount thats a plus fir this...
Read moreI NEVER respond to reviews and unfortunately can’t directly, but in response to Tommie pembertons review; this is a great restaurant with not only friendly staff but good food. You were told the fried pies take 8 minutes immediately after it was rang into the system making it simple for you to cancel the order before cooking. Your food was ready when you got there (the pie wasn’t added until you got there) , so yes it wasn’t unlikely for it to get cold. Unfortunately anything cooked or fried has a wait time. The conversation in question was not only from a moral standpoint, but a biblical one. I understand the Bible can be uncomfortable but the point was that as Christians, it can’t be cherry picked. Judgment is as sinful as the sins we judge. It wasn’t a part of the book I’d preach to children, but only adults were involved in this conversation and I’d love to further explain what we were discussing if you’d like to reach out! Have a...
Read moreI was headed home from work and the wife and I were thinking of BBQ. After being disappointed at the Rib Crib twice I looked for an alternative, and found it. This guy's BBQ was xtremely good. Excellent flavor and extremely moist. We always say the the best way to test BBQ is to taste it WITHOUT ANY SAUCE. We were not disappointed. The brisket, pork, and ribs were outstanding. The service was terrific and patient since it was my 1st time through the drive through. There were a couple tings that we would like to see adjusted. The slaw and potatoe salad left a little to be desired. I also wish the the ribs were available in the 2 or 3 meat combos. This is why we bought 2 combos and a1/2 slabwhich cost a little more than I would have preferred. That said, I will return. The few things that we were disappointed at we now have a menu so we can change our selections slightly. THIS IS WERE YOU WANT TO EAT. GREAT...
