Zep's Pizza & More, at Sebring — Restaurant in Sebring

We have ordered here before but not a lot as we live 25 minutes away. My wife picked up food on the way home, a calzone and large pizza. We had an issue with the order as the pizza box smelled like mildew which then made the pizza smell like it.

I called and explained my issue, then talked to a manager. Their response was sorry “per our owners rules, we only issue refunds or replace orders if you bring it back to us.”

While I completely understand that might be your “rule” I’m not driving almost an hour round trip to have it happen again.

I ended the conversation by saying, “ok well if that’s your rules we will never order here again”. The manager replied by saying “ok have a great evening”.

Food is usually good. But I was unprepared for how they'd handle me finding a long hair baked into the cheese of my day-old pizza (pictured below).

I initially just wanted to let them know about the issue, mistakes happen, but they wouldn't listen and insisted on proof. So I brought it to them with the notion that if I was coming out there I'm getting my money back. Only to have the manager-of-the-day say that she wasn't working the day before so she cannot do anything. Cannot call yesterday's manager-of-the-day, acted like I'm a fool for not noticing the previous day, and only resorted to calling the owner when I made it clear this was unacceptable.

The owner okayed the refund but apparently wanted to call me liar. As the manager-of-the-day suggested that they have no way of knowing it was their pizza, even after I mentioned I could go get the box. She then went on to mention the owner wanted her to say that. All...

Horrible experience!!! Placed an order online. Over an hour after they said it would be delivered with 2 hungry children...I called and asked where our order was and If they got it they said they didn't get it. We ordered somewhere else but my card was charged through zepps for the "order they didn't get" I called back and they said they had our order but wouldn't deliver...we had already ordered somewhere else by then. I asked for them to reimburse me and the manager was extremely rude cussing and yelling and told me to never order from them again wow I'm shocked, I've ordered from them for 4 years and whoever the woman ( manager) is that's working there needs to do so much better!!
