Bakers Corner Pizza — Restaurant in Seekonk

I have given them 2 stars, only because the food tastes pretty good. They have screwed up almost every order, and 3 out of the last 4, all ordered thru the web. The people preparing the food have no care or pride in their work. This is evident by how they screw up orders and the presentation and execution of preparing the food. One example of this is the potato skins. The cheese and bacon was all at the bottom of the tin they baked them in (and also served them in), burnt to the bottom and barely any cheese on the skins. One day I went in and had to wait, becuse some of the women working there were having a fashion show in the ladies room coming in and out trying on different clothes. You tell them they messed up and they don't believe you and have to go pull up your slip and then they are rude about it. One order my wife ordered a wrap and I ordered a grinder (two different types), we each ordered with different toppings. Both sandwiches were made the same (wrongly) and they put hots on my wifes wrap and she was not happy, she hates spicy food. Another time they made the wrong pizza. I ordered the Southwest pizza and they made a texmex pizza. If you cant handle having two "similarly" named pizzas on the menu, take one off. If you go to the site and read the description, they are vastly different. Tonight I ordered the onion and pepper steak and cheese sub with add ons. You could barely see any cheese and they forgot all my add ons; tomato, pickles and mayo. They always forget extra dipping sauces that cost you $1.00. Tonight I called to complain and it was the same spiel. Let me look at your slip, like they didn't believe me, then I heard a lady in the background arguing it and being rude, assuming it was the female cook. I simply told them they have lost my business. I wish there was a better option for sandwiches in North Seekonk. The Mediterranean is great, but not being a sub shop, their sandwich choices are slim (understandably). Their pizza is much better tough ! I hate paying for a meal and having it screwed up time and time again. Once, twice even, sure. But this has just been too much. I had heard through the grapevine that the Bakers Corner had some pretty good food. Well I have to tell you, I was pretty disappointed. I got the seafood platter, which was reasonably priced. However, the food left quite a bit to be desired. I am pretty sure that most if not all of the seafood platter was frozen food and nothing was fresh. The filet in the seafood platter if it was frozen, it was pretty good, but the rest was not good. The onion rings didn't even have any onions in them and resembled something like cooked Funyuns. I believe they have a sign that says they have the best food in Seekonk. That is not a true statement. We ordered delivery and received the food quickly. The food is delicious! We ordered a spaghetti and meatballs and it was enough for 3 to 4 meals! The meatballs are well seasoned, the sauce was delicious and the spaghetti itself was perfectly cooked. We also ordered a bacon cheese burger sub and it was also well seasoned and cooked to perfection. And we ordered a turkey sub. You can't go wrong with a turkey sub and usually other places drench the sandwich with mayo ketchup and mustard. They didn't do that and put just enough which made the sandwich very enjoyable.
