Read moreAll I can say is WOW! First of all, this is the cleanest and most (dare I say it) beautiful Taco Bell I’ve ever seen. And let me tell ya, that’s saying something! But that isn’t the reason for my five star review.
I haven’t eaten at a Taco Bell for quite a while and was shocked and disappointed tonight to discover that the corporate suits have decided to remove the Double Decker Taco from the menu! Leave it to the dorks upstairs to destroy the menu by removing the best thing on it. But tonight was my lucky night - because the person taking my order was also the manager.
Detecting my disappointment, she immediately figured out a way to enter the order, at a fair price, and get my Double Deckers built, bagged and delivered. Now, you may think “big deal, they’re tacos” and you’d be right, but how many Taco Bell employees could pull this off with nary a thought? 99.999% of employees today would have simply said “sorry dude” and that would have been the end of it. This awesome young lady knows what customer service is and made my day.
Hard to believe that a small part of my lost faith in humanity was restored tonight by a helpful and quick-thinking Taco Bell manager. And yes, the tacos...
Read moreI was in the store 10 minutes- never once did someone come to the counter to take my order or ask if I had a question. The restaurant appears to be forcing people to use the screens or their phones to place their own orders. When someone has questions about the food - the screen isn’t the way to go. Individuals who ordered their food via screen - weren't even given proper customer service - the employee would call their name, immediately place the tray on the counter and then turn their backs on the counter. I watched one guest stand there for 4 minutes not picking up the tray waiting for the sauces they needed for their food. The only reason why the staff member came to the counter was because I spoke up loudly and asked if there was someone back there that could answer some questions. A staff person came to the counter, I let the person who had been waiting for their sauces go first, then started to ask some questions and the staff member turned their back on me - thus continuing with previously ignoring me. Needless to say, we left without placing an order. There are too many other food options in Selah to have to put up with this...
