Fosters Freeze — Restaurant in Selma

Hello Google viewers So, I just got home from visiting Foster Freeze. My experience there left some to be desired. I bought myself a medium chocolate dipped cone that when given to me was cracked and leaning to one side. Now I know that not every ice cream is going to come out perfect, but when I’m paying almost $5.00 for a single cone I would at least expect the employee to notice what I was being given. Also, this being the reason I am writing this review. I bought their new ice coffee mocha thing that was absolutely repulsive! The first drink I took was like drinking coffee syrup. It was thick and very unpleasant.

I just left foster freeze in Selma for a 2nd time and my fries were ok but my rocky road twister was a disaster!!! Way too much chocolate it was in heaps throughout my ice cream and they put so many peanuts in it I couldn’t even eat it! Very disappointing for almost $5.00 it was a mess...

This location has gone down hill! We used to love taking our kids here for an after school ice cream. Unfortunately today we decided to stop by for an end of the week, after school treat.

The service was terrible. The person taking our order was rude and barely responsive as I ordered; glaring a hole in my head as I made my selections. The table was filthy, so I asked for napkins to clean it. Again I was met with a disgusted expression and zero verbal response.

The music playing was full of expletives - which doesn’t bother me, but is not something I like my young son to listen to.

Then there’s the food. The fries were greasy and tasted of old, dirty oil. The final straw was the curly hair my wife found at the bottom of her banana split!

This is definitely the last time we visit the Selma location. I’d advise you to find a different...

Today I ordered 1 chicken strip combo and 1 old fashion burger combo, night “regular” size and the total was $27.64. There was one employee handling both the counter and grill, alone. There were 3 or 4 orders ahead of mine and we waited 25 minutes to get our food that hurt our stomachs a short time after. The food is overpriced and low portioned and you would think that money would at least be going back into the business, but it clearly isn’t. It was 96 degrees outside today and it was cooler outside than to dine inside because the ac was off and There wasn’t even a fan on. The lobby is dirty and the fake floral arrangements are dusty.
