Seriously what happened to Sal's in the last 4 years ? They are slowly getting worse and worse. Did the ownership change did the manager change something changed and no one's doing nothing about it just read all the reviews of the negative experiences if the owner is reading this are you going to do anything about it or you just going to let this continue ? You're losing a lot of customers by not addressing the issues that are very obvious and plain sight. Your employees need to be disciplined when making mistakes and they are not, seems they do whatever they want and they make up their own rules as they go with no respect to whoever the owner is. Very sad with our last experience. We felt rushed out by our waitress. Very rude and obnoxious. She would not let my 11 year old son take home his salsa with his chips that he loves very much. They offered a container for the salsa we had remaining but no lid saying they can't let customers take home salsa ?! Odd ? I mean you're just going to throw it out in the garbage can anyways why wouldn't you let the customer take it home to finish it is it really like that now where your nickel and diming where you can't even afford lids ? Pathetic. Our family has been a loyal customer at Sal's in Selma since 1993 when we used to live in Sanger now we live in Northeast Fresno we would drive all the way to Selma for Sal's once a month for the last 14 years but never again plus the manager backed up the waitress knowing the waitress is wrong in her decision that just tells you everything that you need to know about that company. We even watch the waitress go and complain to her supervisor because we demanded a lid to take home our salsa and the manager said no as well so we're not wasting our time our gas or a money ever again at this location we'll find something near our house like Casa Corona. Sorry it didn't work out Sal's but we are no longer interested in your sub par service. First Cattleman's dropped the ball years ago with undercooked steaks and now Sal's is dropping the...

Came in tonight with a small group. Admittedly a bit late (seated at about 7:30) but figured we'd still get a great meal. And we did. However not everything turned out great. We all get our food right around closing time. Right around 8. We didn't have our food for 5 minutes before the waiter came around asking if we'd like boxes for our food. So we all knew we were about to get rushed out the door. Every few minutes the waiter would come back and ask if we were ready for boxes yet or to clear the table of empty dishes. I happened to be the last person working on food. I wasn't far from done, however I was determined to finish. Well the waiter happened to come by just as I had a mouthful of food and ask if he could clear the table since he already brought a couple boxes. I didn't ask for a box because I was determined to finish. Well someone at my table said yes he can clear the table. So the waiter grabbed all the plates, including mine. All while I still had a fork in my hand. I didn't get to finish my plate or get a box for leftovers. Instead I watched as my plate get taken as I had a mouthful of food so I couldn't protest or ask for a box. I've had a history of getting screwed over some how by Sal's, just another occasion to the list. Couldn't even finish my plate or box up what I had left without getting rushed...

I've been eating at Sals for 45 years...The food and service has been over the top. I was happy when dine in came back as to sit down and enjoy your delicious food , however , something has gone very wrong with your chili con carne recipe. It is just plain to salty. Tried it several times since you were able to do dine ins. Each time was more salty than the last. So today 8/1/21 I thought I would go a safer route and get your chili verde. Sorry to say that was a bigger mistake yet. It too was so salty I could'nt even eat half my plate. That was at 10:00 a.m. . It is now 5:30 p.m. and I can still taste the salt in my mouth. You guys really need to get control the dude with the salt shaker for I know I'm not the only one whom can be noticing this as a problem. Sorry to bare the bad news to you but somebody needs to. Like I said I have had 45 years of your food and service that I will give 5 stars to. There is nothing on your menu that I haven't tried dozens of time with no complaints. huevos rancheros are my favorite on Sundays mournings and the Sals Combo for lunch/ Dinner are two of my favorite go to items at your restaurant. I will wait a month or so before I go back on a Sunday morning to try again.....Sorry to say if it is still to salty I will not return. Thank you...
