While there discussing traveling from Texas and seeing the Civil Rights locations in Birmingham we told the couple there waiting we where trying to support Black 🖤 Owned Buisnesses. (They have a Black 🖤 Owned Buisness, Roofing.)
And we where staying in Marion Alabama and let us know that Corretta Scott King..Martin Luther King's wife was from Marion Alabama. And that another gentle named Jimmy Lee Jackson that marched with Dr. King was from Marion as well.

When I picked up the salad, my payment was taken and I was told after it was paid for that they were supposedly out of eggs. Well, duh...that should have been told before taking payment. Read moreI visited Selma this morning on a Great Migration trip. As I walked the city just ground myself with history as I stumbled upon the BLACK GEM. I am from Michigan, I walked in and saw BLACK patrons, officers, and working civilians. I felt at home as I listened in on the small talk. I ordered THE BEST salted caramel frappe I ever had.
