LouLou's To Go — Restaurant in Seven Points

I really wanted to like this place…. I love hole in the wall unique spots. But I won’t be back due to multiple issues. First problem is seeing an employee leaning against a pole at the order window smoking. She seemed annoyed that we even showed up. No employee serving food should be seen smoking, period. How gross. Then we found the menu to be very busy and difficult to order from. We simply wanted ice cream and another employee was annoyed when we asked about what flavors they had. We ordered a small cup and when it was served it was dripping down the sides. No one wants hands covered in ice cream. The only area outside to eat is on a patio. Unfortunately the employees are too busy leaning, smoking and being aggravated that customers showed up to clean it. The patio area is filthy! Tables are covered in melted ice cream, trash on the ground and no trash can in the area. Finally, the dock are is a disaster. The lake is down and the dock is unusable. We watched as two different boaters had to stay in their boat and physically hold them to keep them off the docks and posts. It would be easy to modify this dock to make it functional even with low water but no one is even trying.

If the owner will listen to this feedback and address these issues they will have more business than they know what to do with. If not, they will continue on the sad path they are on. Do better.

Based on the responses to other reviews I read I don’t think the owner is wanting to improve the business...

By far the worst experience I've had visiting Texas. We first stopped in to get some daiquiris we where so excited we don't have anything like this near us in Idaho. I want to preface this, we obviously had our Idaho state issued driver's license and Idaho state issued ID/driver's license. Both my boyfriend(21) and I(22) were turned down because the cashier said "I don't know which one of these is real" we have 2 different looking ID because the state of Idaho updated their ID this year (just Google it!). We understand this and we tried to say all of this but she still said because his new ID in not in her "book" she will not serve us. So we went back to where we are staying and picked up his PASSPORT and my TEXAS state issued birth certificate to show her but unfortunately because she already thought one of the ID's were fake or as she stated "not in her book" she wasn't going to serve us. We wanted to just take a moment to help her understand Idaho ID's but instead of using any actual evidence that either ID where real (such as a black light, water mark or even scanner) she turned us away. We do not understand why the only place we got turned away from was a drive through...

Per my previous review- we were invited to come visit by car so we did. As we walked up, there was a very large woman smoking a cigarette right by the window to order. We really should have left right then- how disgusting!! She looked irritated that we showed up. She put her cigarette out on the side of the garbage can and banged on the window for the person inside to come help us. The young lady who helped us was very nice. The outside sitting area is absolutely filthy. No one is maintaining the tables and chairs, they’re sticky, dirty and unappealing. This place has a very slim chance of making it long term. We won’t be contributing to the effort..

We boated over to visit Vernon’s lake side then Lou Lou’s for some dessert. 1. Vernons is permanently closed. 2. Lou Lou’s is inaccessible by boat. Complete let down! Their dock doesn’t float and water is too shallow to park a boat. We will visit by land and hopefully satisfy our ice...
