The Herminie Diner did not disappoint! My boyfriend was in town, as I am a local, and we wanted to go to a diner. Even though I am from the area, I’ve never been to the Herminie Diner so I thought to give it a try. A bit of time went by and we realized that we were running late, and they closed soon. We made it in at 12:00 p.m., whenever they close at 12:30 p.m. on Sundays. Also, a note to make, their kitchen closes 30 minutes prior to closing each day, just to keep that in mind. I was worried that they weren’t going to seat us, since it was so late, but they seated us with no problem! The waitress was wonderful, and made sure that we had refills on our drinks if need be. Along with that, the food was so delicious and felt like it was all made with love while being served. While in the restaurant, I remember seeing a motto referencing ā€œtreating everyone like family that comes inā€, and let me tell you, they stick true to that. My boyfriend and I felt like we were family in their diner, and I couldn’t leave a better review if I tried! If I could do more than 5 stars… I would! Definitely will be...

I used to go to the palace every to every other Sunday for years but when it closed its doors the herminie diner took its place and its reputation. The herminie diner has great food and decent sized portions but the big draw in for me was there massive pancakes. Unfortunately since the herminie diner opened the prices on the pancakes has doubled and they have cut the portion size in half. (In my opinion) this is a great place to eat and take your family but its loosing its abilitiey to make you feel right at home. I still highly recommend the herminie diner to all who ask and for lunch because of the amazing lunch menu. But the downsizing of the pancakes has caused me to skip breakfast at the herminie diner. I rarely go out to eat and don't like many places but this is the one place I would always go and take friends and family for breakfast. Now its no longer a place that I highly recommend. I still recommend it as good to go but no longer an amazing place to go. This review in short says breakfast is loosing its edge but don't be deterred to try the herminie diner. I miss...

This place was AWESOME! The food was honestly the best I have ever tasted. I got a breakfast bagel sandwich with hash potatoes and oh my goodness, it was probably one of the closet things I've had to tasting heaven. The coffee was delicious but VERY strong so beware. That is of course a good thing but just be careful. The 89 year old woman I help out had to take a pill because it made her heart beat funny and honestly I felt like I needed a pill too, haha. This place is the best kept secret in that little town that has almost nothing in it. The food is top notch and worth the price. The waitress was professional and we were seated almost immediately. Also be warned though that parking is behind the building so if you have someone with you that needs assistance with walking, drop them off at the door and pick them back up afterwards because it is a...

The food here was both delicious and affordable. Most tables are good for 4 people. They can push a couple together but just a heads up -- when we came in this weekend it was BUSY. The food was good. The coffee was delicious, too. Sundays are breakfast only days which are perfect for a family brunch after church. I got the English muffin egg sandwich, one brother got an omelette, another the French toast. My sister got the eggs and toast and the kiddo chose the giant cinnamon roll. All of the food was DELICIOUS šŸ˜ The cinnamon roll was something amazing, truly. I recommend trying this giant contraption. The service was great. We had a teenage boy who helped out gal who took our order. Both were friendly and efficient. A couple of important notes: This place is CASH only. Parking is limited.

A Hidden Gem!** I recently discovered Herminie Diner, tucked away off the beaten path, and it’s easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The service was outstanding too. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find that level of personal care in dining these days. The atmosphere was equally impressive—warm and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to sit and stay for a while. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to check it out. You won’t regret it!

Best breakfast food around-NO one has better bacon than they do, it looks like they carved it right off the pig, the banana bread French toast is amazing, the cinnamon roll is HUGE and SO tasty, but oddly enough their regular french toast is one of the best I've ever had- they use Mancini's bread. Only thing we wish is that they had a combo breakfast (like french toast combo) because we come once a month when they have it -check their Facebook, they post their monthly specials calendar
