I have been a long term customer going back to 1990. The in house staff always helpful and professional, the food is fresh and flavorful . The only problem I've had and it's been twice in the last 4 months that my order was really late and my pizza was stiff and cold. Tonight the food was left front door I asked the order person to please have delivery ring my door bell, I called in order at 7:40pm and it was 8:51pm and no food, I decided to go see if I could wait downstairs for a few more minutes then call the pizzeria and my food had been left by my door and it was ice cold. I always tip 20% and the going rate for delivery range is 10-20% . Then to add insult to injury I called one last time at 9:40pm to get the name of delivery person and it's Ashen, customer beware if you do delivery ask who your delivery person will be and don't leave the cash in an envelope like I did because he got 20% of what I spent and I felt like I wasn't a valued customer he couldn't ring the doorbell to let me know that my food was here but he took time to make change firvthe $100 dollar bill that I left to pay for order and took time to get his 20% tip of what I spent my order was $48.23 and add $10.00 for his tip! Its sad to have people just look out for what they could gain not because its mandatory but because you want to show gratitude for doing a good job but tonight it was anything but what I expected he even made mention when I called to the server that took my call saying that I had lied and that I had complained about the door bell being rung too many much WT... !! let me close by saying that the owners of this place are good people if there's something wring with your order they will make it right for you that's what good customer service is unlike some that do a half ass job and reep the regards of a tip without having the common courtesy of delivering food before its ice cold and have you sit there and wait over an hour I was waiting one hour and twenty minutes this was a total waste of money and in closing if your going to have one person on your squad act less than professional and customer driven then owner of business beware, it's your reputation that said worker is ruining and yes my meal was a total bust and waste of my money I can always find another pizzeria and its a shame because the crew, the owner/s and the chef and food prep staff do a great job, is it worth your reputation to loose long standing customers over bad customer service due to a negligent and inconsiderate...
Read morethis is my second time coming here, after loving it the first time, and the service was an absolute joke. itâs a saturday evening and the restaurant is probably a little less than half full, yet that shouldnât matter since there were about five or six people on shift. it takes us roughly seven minutes (about a few minutes in i start timing it out of curiosity), to even get greeted or provided with menus (no, we did not seat ourselves) all while we see employees standing around. who we presumed was our server, apologized for our wait, grabbed our drink orders, which came out instantly. 14 minutes later, a guy comes up to our table and says nothing more than, âhey.â it was only the notepad in hand that gave it away that he was here to take our order, after being taken aback because we thought the other guy was our server. cool, he takes our orders, takes a while to come out (which i am not upset over, even if the place was relatively empty, the kitchen could be getting swamped w takeout orders), and the food is disappointing. one of our sides included pasta with marinara- something so simple it should be almost virtually impossible to mess up, but youâd be amazed. it was doused w oil, so much so that the sauce was not even able to stick to the pasta. the pizza was equally greasy, but the toppings were generous- i will give them that. after dropping off the food, the person who took our food made sure we had everything we needed, and was solely attentive at the point. minutes roll by, the server that took our drink orders walks by, doesnât acknowledge us, and touches a table that had recently gotten bussed (presumably to see if it got wiped). then the second guy came up to check on us, mid meal, and offered us boxes. at this point, we donât feel welcomed, so we accept- he offers the bill, which we also take. meanwhile, we overhear a nearby table claiming, âthatâs the third guy to ask us if we needed boxes in the past five minutes.â it is very clear that pushing people out is a common theme, and there is a major lack of communication in an otherwise small establishment. come here if you like to feel unwelcome and rushed out⊠it took the staff less time to offer us boxes upon food coming out than it did to actually take our orders. i genuinely did not see the need when there was no need to flip tables when the place was pretty empty. highly...
Read moreI discovered Albertoâs and was happy to find an old-school pizza place that was simple to order from with good food. Unfortunately, it was a lot of smoking mirrors with this place because the first couple deliveries were awesome and then service took a turn for the worst. Gradually the quality and condition of the food fell off. In addition to that they are a take out place who never ever provides plates, silverware, or napkins. It can be extremely frustrating because who wants to wash dishes when you order takeout? I have spent so much money with this restaurant ordering 2 to 3 times a week within the last two months.
About 2 1/2 weeks ago I ordered two cheese pizzas for me and my children and was quoted 45 minutes. The pizzas arrived after an hour and 15 minutes and they were ice cold. I called the woman to let her know because I had called her, previously to tell her that my peaches were taking a long time. She informed me that she had spoken to management and that I had the option to either get two replacement pizzas or she could give me a refund. Because I frequent the restaurant restaurant I told her that I would just take my two pizzas in the future. Today I called in to get my replacement pizzas and after a 20 minutes song and dance, they told me that they were not going to give me my replacements. They told me there is no management on duty and the manager will not be back until Wednesday. Running a restaurant with no leadership is a huge no-no and the fact that you canât make a simple replacement of two pizzas at a pizzeria is beyond sad and incompetent. You would think that a small, stuffy business, such as this, would appreciate and prioritize, the people who spend money with them. They were not only rude, but they were not true to their word, and thatâs not a kind of business that I will be giving my money to any longer. so if you would like mediocre food with even worse service than Albertoâs will be your place. If you enjoy being frustrated, due to lack of management or control of restaurant, then Albertoâs is your place. If not, I suggest you...
