Bojangles — Restaurant in Seymour

Pretty disappointed. Went through the drive thru yesterday on our way home. Ordered our food and was asked to pull up behind a truck that was waiting. No big deal but i had to ask for my drink first and the guy didnt even know what i ordered. We waited a little while and watched them bring out the food for the first guy while other cars behind us were driving off with their food. We saw them talking and I told my husband I bet they forgot his drink. Sure emough, they did! The guy got out of the truck to go inside because they forgot his plastic ware. I made a joke with him. We watched as he came back out with his stuff and drove to a parking spot to eat. We pulled up and kept waiting. Still watching everyone behind us pulling off with their food. When the first truck pulled out of their spot to leave, we started to get angry. It had to have been 20 minutes sitting there with nobody coming out to check in with us. I went inside where there were some employees just hanging out off the clock and others who were working joined in. That was annoying to see. Talked to someone about where my food was and they had no idea what I was talking about or what I even ordered!!! I became pretty mad. The poor girl wrote my food order down and I walked outside to tell my husband. He asked me to go cancel it and get my refund and we would go somewhere else because he didn’t want to wait anymore. Little did we know how long it was going to take to get a refund! The manager said “I apologize” but he didn’t show any sympathy or care in the world about what just happened. And when he was giving my refund, he had the nerve to give me attitude about the order not totaling up considering HE missed ringing up a sandwich. The whole thing should’ve been handled differently. I get stuff happens, but...

Went to drive through. We were told a couple of items would take 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, an employee came out and stated a different item ordered, from the previous ones stated on delay, would take even a few MORE minutes. 35 MINUTES LATER I entered the establishment to see if we were forgotten. I heard the drive thru attendant laugh at the young male cook about how the rice was like soup. The young man walked right past me at the counter without acknowledgement or announcement of my presence to go to the restroom. The drive through attendant FINALLY came out with my food bagged. I told her I heard the laughing about the rice, checked it, and it was like soup and THEY SERVED IT ANYWAYS and STILL DIDN'T GET IT DONE PROPERLY AFTER 35+ MINUTES! The rest of the food, of course, had gotten cold. At that point I was HOT and just got my money back. No coupon for a free meal or apology from the manager, BIG LESSON missed there. I live close, and will spread the word to others around. Pathetic service, which sadly, seems to be a trend anymore, especially with the younger generation, til they can prove me wrong. My wife's Dr. Pepper, after leaving the premises, even turned out to be a diet soda...Wow! Do NOT go here, at least in the...

Came by today on 12-23-23 and order two meals. The coleslaw we were given expired on 11/10/23 (a month and 13 days ago) as shown in the attached picture. Both of our meals were supposed to come with biscuits when I got home neither had the biscuit in it. The drink I was given was pure carbonation with no flavor and had a garden hose aftertaste. When I got home the first bite of a chick tender was icedy inside (I had to microwave them to make sure they were fully cooked). Lastly I was charged an extra $0.25 for a dipping sauce that should be complimentary with the meal........ Also to note, I was the only car in the drive thru so it wasn't as though a lunch rush had impacted my service. Disappointing results for such a new location. Usually newer stores are under constant scrutiny from the owner/operator and/or corporate level. If this is the standard in the beginning, it will only get worse from here. I advise bypassing this...
