My family was very impressed by the perfect combination of Mexican restaurant staples as well as unique delicious specials that we loved! I recommend Alexiaās Special. It was absolutely incredible and the presentation was beautiful. I was impressed by the combination of sweet and salty this dish had. It was a very tender thin cut juicy chicken grilled to perfection over a bed of caramelized onions, topped with creamy queso blanco, grilled shrimp, sweet grilled pineapple, and cherries. It was definitely fun to try something new with rich flavors! My husband ordered the Tacos Al Pastor and was happy with the flavor and how the meat was grilled. The service was friendly, and the dining room was very clean. Overall it was a lively environment and we will be back with more family again in the near future. It is so nice to have a new restaurant in town!!!
My Recommendation for visiting on a busy weekend night: make a reservation in advance..Otherwise you can walk in and they will take your cell phone numberā¦then you can go walk around Main Street or Dons market until they call you for your table. (About 20 mins)...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time and last time unfortunately friend moved to Seymour and thought I'd take her out for a good meal, service was all right until we couldn't find anybody when we needed something, she got half of her food and we wondered if that was all it and no one was around to ask. 5 minutes later she got the rest of it, there was this sauce over the tamales and chili rellano that we ordered that tasted like canned ravioli tomato saucwith meat, not authentic and really tasted bad. Tried to overcharge me for my meal when I did a la carte items and said no it was correct went up to the front and looked at the menu and it was finally corrected after talking to three different people. I hope other people have experience that were good, Mexican taco and spicy salsa was probably the only good thing but I had to ask for limes and they came out with a lime cut in half, my friend both laughed. I've been to Mexico, have friends that are Hispanic and know that that would not be acceptable sorry...

Mi Ranchito, a truly good tasting representation of a well remembered meal in Matomoros, Mexico(opposite side of Brownsville, TX). Light, specific flavorings that add to the finish of a rarely duplicated presentation of authentic foods and dishes, and delivered with a fine and genuine smile- makes one want to head there now. The combo meal offerings are many...hard to choose just one. Enjoy a nice drive out to be at this place of delectable and well deserved and earned praise. Oh, go now...before it gets busy...
