The treasure of Bakersfield! I was thinking I would have to stop at some gross fast food like jack in the box but I was delighted to see this food truck. Like an oasis in the desert, the real taste of India is some authentic, handmade, and warming cuisine. I love supporting a family, a small business like this especially when they are so proud and hospitable as the real taste of India. The flavors are a symphony of love and tradition and you can taste that in every bite! I will be returning on every road trip...

What a surprise indeed! We were charging our car and thought we were stuck eating fast food or gas station snacks. Instead, we found an Indian food truck walking distance from the charging station. What a find!

I had samosa, bhindi masala, kadai chicken and goat biryani. So unexpectedly delicious! The staff were also very nice and accommodating! They also put up a small picnic table for their guest to eat… which was nice while we were charging our car.

You should definitely make sure you check...

This is by far the best Indian food I have had in the USA. The two ladies cook the food with love and authenticity. I had Aloo paratha, yellow dal and black Chana. It was hands down delicious.
