Fred's Garage — Restaurant in Shallowater

NOW I KNOW YOU WILL COMMENT TO DEFEND YOUR SELF IN REDGUARDS TO MY OPINION AND THE FACT THAT YOU ARE VERY RUDE AND THAT EVERY BAD REVIEW YOU GET YOU LITERALLY TRY AND JUSTIFY THE FACT AND NOT JUST TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY so don’t waist your time!!!!!!

So to start off….we just moved here literally a week ago, we had looked around for food durning the day so we actually saw Fred’s garage and we thought we would try it……well we walk in there’s no one there we see a little boy walk out from the back and around us and I guess the owner or his dad literally said “WHAT ARE YALL DOING HERE” and we replied “well we just over here we were looking for somewhere” BEFORE WE COULD EVEN GET THE FULL SENTENCE OUT HE WAS LIKE NO WE CLOSE AT 4:30 so asked if there was anywhere else and VERY RUDELY said nope just sonic have a good day WE JUST WALKED OUT!!!!!!!!

Now as of tonight I didn’t feel good and so I decided to just order a take out pizza so I wasn’t having to even deal with his RUDE A$$ again!!! Pizza was so gross and thick almost no pizza sauce on the pizza just bread and cheese the pizza was like a boxed pizza you buy at the freezer Section in Walmart!!! SO SONIC IT IS OR ILL GLADLY DEIVE TO LUBBOCK BEFORE EVER STOPPING...

Well worth the small drive out from Lubbock. At first, I was thinking what strange place is my wife dragging me too. But WOW was I amazed... nice, clean, looking building. Walk in and friendly smiles and welcoming staff.. Like they were happy to be there.. the vibe is casual. Order and your drinks are given to you and you go sit and the food is brought out to you. I was thinking, okay, this will probably be a snack . But wait, that club sandwich was huge. That's a medium drink in the picture . I had a side of fruit... blueberries, strawberries, and watermelon in a togo cup in case you can't finish. But it wasn't just an afterthought. This was fresh fruit. Like just cut strawberries and watermelon. Back to the drink. They don't serve you regular fountain drinks. They even make those special. Trust me, just go and try them out. You won't regret it. Super clean, kid friendly, good...

Oh my goodness, what a gem of a place! Such a great vibe of garage meets glam! I ordered the breakfast pizza with cauliflower crust and added bacon and bell peppers… and was so surprised to see diced red, yellow, and green bell peppers on the pizza! (I was expecting big chunks of just green peppers) Anyway the pizza was quite yummy and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. Super cute little shop near front of the store and lots of Fred’s Garage merch. And the greatest surprise ever… … (wait for it) … THE BATHROOM HAD A HEATED TOILET SEAT!!!! My first experience with such a luxury! It was a surprise at first, but then I laughed out loud and quite honestly, wanted to stay a while!

This place is definitely worth the trip from SW Lubbock! I can’t wait to go back in the evening and have...
