To whom it may concern,

I have always told people you had the best subs in the state. In fact, I have been a customer since you opened. Your ignorant and sloppy display when I ordered food today was the ultimate display of poor business I have seen in many years. I came in and ordered a whole #4 and a half #4 at about 12:45 pm today October 20,2014. The girl slicing and making asked what I wanted and I said a whole and a half #4. As the line moves down they are busy and making several sandwiches. No one asks what I want on my sandwiches. They evidently made a duplicate order for the previous one and she proceeded to strip the wrong meat off this sandwich and put other on and then it still wasn’t correct and she stripped some more and added more. Then threw everything on it and was stuffing it in a bag when I realized this cobbled up mess was going to be given to me. I said “that is not mine is it?” To which she said “yes”. I said I want mayo on my sandwiches , not oil and vinegar. To which she replied “ that is what comes with everything”. I didn’t order everything and you people didn’t bother to ask what I wanted on my sandwiches. She tried to say I ordered everything which was a lie. She proceeded to strip this sandwich for the third time and try to remake it and put it in a bag for me. I got home and there is still oil and vinegar and there is no mayo on this sandwich and it was a mess. First it was stupid and ignorant to try to take your mistake , strip it down and reuse the ingredients on my order. It was even more stupid to make it wrong again, strip it down and reuse some of the parts to try and fix it. And the ultimate insult was to do all this in front of me and try to make it my fault. The whole mess was stupid, ignorant, and poor business practice. I have spent years promoting your establishment, but now my life mission will be to tell everyone I know about this experience ( I know a lot of people). You can’t treat customers like this and expect them to accept it. You screwed up terribly and really there is no way to fix it. In case you should try to, do not attempt to insult me by offering me a free sandwich or some stupid trinket like that. I want NOTHING for free. I am not complaining to get something for nothing. I pay for what I order and expect it to be done correctly and in a professional manner, which you failed miserably at and I feel you should know...

I've been going here for over 30 years and had a less than stellar experience tonight. Family of four, $50+ order. That's fine, they're worth it. Got a chicken salad and fried veg as part of the order. The fried veg comes with the good house made ranch and I asked for the good ranch with the salad too. The woman that rang me up put two good ranches in my bag. So far so good. While waiting for my order, the eldest woman working the counter is checking the bags and tries replacing one of the good ranches with the bagged garbage. I said what I wanted originally which the first clerk confirmed and the second lady said I didn't pay for it because the first clerk was new. The first clerk offered to pay the difference to which I said no and put a dollar on the counter. The second lady looks me right in the face and says the ranch is $1.86 each. I already threw a five in the tip jar and didn't have any more cash on me so I gave her my debit card. She tried ringing me up for two ranches even though I was getting one with the fried veg already (which ended up being 90% zucchini). We typically go to Lock Stock once a month. I'll still be going because they have the best subs in the valley. But way to leave a bad taste in your customer's mouth over...

We have been customers about 22 years. But moved for the last 5. But went in expecting the same welcoming people. Everything was good until I asked for extra meat for my husbands sub!?!? She looked at me like I asked her a foreign queation and how dare me! My husband is a bigger man and maybe, just maybe thats what he likes??!! Customers are #1!! Or so I thought. Not here. Some people want more meat, just like extra pickle, or no onions! Its not a crime...especially if they pay for it! But no, she looks at me like she couldnt believe I could ask such a thing and rudely and says I cannot double the meat on the sub! Instead tells me I can purchase the additional meat from the deli and take it home to finish the sub!! What??!! I was willing to pay extra for it. I should not have to leave a sandwich shop/eatery with an incomplete sub and have to complete my order at home! Isnt that why I came here to begin with? I could have just bought the items from the grocery store to begin with! Unfortunately I dont believe we will be going back for some time once more. 😣 Sad. All because someone wanted something extra! Thank you! May God continue to bless all of you. And to the lady whom treated me this way I wish you happiness, joy, and...

I was working in Sharpsville, PA today and as We people do, I was getting hungry! A young lady walked in to the location I was working, saying she was so happy to be done for the day. I asked done with what? She says “I work at Lock Stock and Barrel, can’t you smell me?!?” Even joking, I did not feel it appropriate to answer that! In hindsight, yes I could and she smelled delicious! I walked over to the sandwich shop and was immediately met with an aroma that took my hunger to a new level. I was suggested to try the Philly Cheese Steak. They did not use provolone but American cheese, and I asked no onions, add banana peppers. OMG, the taste, texture, and aroma of this sandwich is amazing, I cannot deny that for a second! When I return to Sharpsville, I will be hitting this shop again, and I strongly recommend that you do as well!

I have been coming to Lock Stock for close to 40 years. The last few times have been a disappointment and I don't anticipate going again any time soon. The counter staff kept cutting us off as we ordered. There was a $0.90 upcharge for pickles for my half sub. They didn't even put them on the sub, instead it was a plastic cup with six pickle slices in it. I don't have a problem waiting for hot foods there but the last thing we were waiting on was my son's burger and it was sitting on the ledge for two minutes before anyone grabbed it. And they were not busy like usual either. The nugget snack, burger and onion rings we got were delicious. My wife's Reuben had so much mustard on it she couldn't eat it. My turkey sub had rotten lettuce on it. I really miss when the Chubas ran it.

In town for the weekend and found this place. Couldn’t be happier. Great food at a reasonable price. When they say giant subs, you can believe it. These things are absolutely massive. The meats are cut right in front of you and your sub can be customized to your satisfaction. Plenty of chip options along with desserts, hot foods like fries, mozzarella sticks, and pizza logs plus a variety of drinks. You can even play the lottery in here.. just a cool little catch all with a great atmosphere.
