Lincoln Street Grille & Pub — Restaurant in Shawneetown

The staff was amazing, the food & drinks were so good- Smashed Burger , one of the best I ever had. The loaded fries, were crisp , hot & delicious . There were 12 of us, & the staff couldn't of been more accommodating. First time we had ever been there & we had some time to kill before taking care of some business at the courthouse. Not only did we get a great meal ( we tried almost every appetizer on the menu, which came out quickly . perfectly cooked & hot)but the drinks were pretty tasty also ! I look at all the good reviews and hesitate to give a bad one, but here goes. I visited Shawneetown last night for a program at the library. I thought I’d grab a bite to eat before the program and I saw all these good reviews. I was told that I could order in the pub part of the business, so I went in and found a table across from the bar. The bartender was sitting behind the bar and never moved from her chair, looked at me but didn’t speak or acknowledge I was there. I waited a few minutes, didn’t know if I was supposed to order at the bar or what. Finally I decided to just go to the library early and get something to eat on...

This is a large bar. We stopped in had a couple drinks. Watched some horse races on tv, and headed out. It was still early in the day and im sure it gets rocking at night. It had a drive up window for alcohol purchases. Lots of seating....
