When my family ventures to Shelburne Farms, we always have to make a stop at the Farm Barn to visit this most amazing of bakeries. Once you walk through the old double barn door entrance, your nose is hit with the most intoxicating smell. In front of you are the display racks containing the most incredible baked breads, cookies and pastries you will ever find. No big fancy display area here. The multi GRAIN bread is the best bread I have ever tasted ! ! ! ! ! It is filling, healthy, and worth the drive of 4 hours up to Shelburne and 4 hours back to fill up my freezer with the best bread that I have ever tasted!!!

I am disappointed I cannot buy this bread in CT, but.... I am willing to buy and have them ship me 6 loaves until I go up there mid July.

OMG! This place is ridiculously amazing! The smell the taste the friendly staff is just a great recipe for success! The olive bread is sooooo good. The sticky buns just hits the spot! The regular and chocolate croissants is heavenly. Plus the workers are so friendly. The bread and pastries are made on the properties then shipped to the various locations.
